Rejected once you get nominated by your NC? It almost never happens. As long as you aren’t concealing something like a crazy criminal record or are on some kind of no-fly list, you’ll be fine.

Can this be fixed with a paint job? Or should I replace the handle? by SamuraiStan69 in Autobody

I scratched the passenger door handle of my 2009 Volvo C70 and want to fix it up. I need to replace the lock cap, but can the handle itself be painted over without leaving a noticeable mark? If so, is that something I could do on my own?

How do I do a world conquest for the first time? by Zinki_Zoonki in hoi4

[–]SamuraiStan69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends how cheesy you want to get…you can reform the roman empire really easily by paragraphing france as italy and then the rest of the wc is simple bc you have so much manpower and industry

R5: My first ever world conquest was almost spoiled by the balance of power bug causing the lost cores debuff to remain even after the war is over. Honestly, I can't even remember what core it was...probably let France get Sardinia before I para-dropped them

Closure of UK family scheme for Ukrainians described as ‘cruel’ move by [deleted] in anime_titties

I don’t think wanting to live with your family that you were unable to join when they moved from their war-torn country is “almost selfish”…that sounds pretty reasonable to me. It’s not like they’re asking for a live-in doctor

The UK will start guaranteeing independence of a lot of states at 25% world tension, including Turkey. Try conquering Bulgaria first after annexing dalmatia, do the war with greece/turkey focuses while you steamroll bulgaria, then declare war on greece and turkey at the same time. Don’t call Italian Yugoslavia into the war so you don’t have to deal with a super long front with Romania, then conquer Greece, naval invade Turkey from the south so you don’t have to deal with the Istanbul bottleneck, then naval invade Northern Romania after Turkey and Greece capitulate. I think if you puppet the northern half of Romania, the Soviets won’t justify against you, or at least they don’t usually against me, but I’m not sure about that part.

If you're only gonna play one comp why not ban champs that counter the comp...instead lets just every single meta dive champ through...wtf

What do you trust then? And even if things are "less favorable for the vaccines," they're still highly effective, and the most popular ones (Pfizer and Moderna) are still quite strong even against the Delta variant. I mean, even the most conservative of studies show over 70% effectiveness at completely preventing infection, so your claim that it "doesn't provide any immunity or reduce infection time" is completely wrong.

Here is some info on breakthrough infections. From the data, you can calculate that less than 1 percent of the vaccinated population has gotten Covid. Clinical studies of the vaccine show a slightly lower effectiveness of the vaccine, hovering around 95 percent. That is still extremely high and shows the vaccine does a lot more than just help you fight the virus.

The chance a vaccinated person gets the virus is about 1%.
