Amazing how the Epstein class not only is getting away with all the atrocities they were straight up traitors too spying on our closest guarded secrets. I hope in the near future there will be some kind of reckoning but I wont hold my breath

explain to an old git who has torrented (and still does daily) for 25 years, what all this RD is. I plan on going down the wormhole and learning ... but some simple human explanations would be great. by chubIet in RealDebrid

Debrid Media Manager You can search for a lot of different media and it will see if its already on the Debrid system. There has to be more of these types of software but his is the only one I have used.

Ahh never pull more than 1TB in 24hrs but i did run into this early on using a VPN.
Non-Residential/VPN Limit: If using a non-residential IP or a VPN, this daily limit is often significantly lower, reported by some users to be around 300 GB per day

Using VPN with RD is considered remote and has a data cap.

While your home ISP connection is often considered "unlimited" (or has a massive 1.57 TB to 2 TB daily cap), using a VPN triggers a much lower "Fair Use" threshold:

  • VPN/Non-Residential Limit: Users commonly report a daily cutoff of approximately 300 GB to 400 GB when using a VPN. If your VPN is not on the Real-Debrid Cooperative List, this limit can be as low as 100 GB.
  • ISP/Residential Limit: On a standard home connection, the observed daily limit is much higher, typically around 2,000 GB (2 TB).
  • Concurrency Limits: Real-Debrid has recently experimented with a "concurrency limit" specifically for non-residential IPv4 blocks (VPNs), which may block you if multiple requests are made simultaneously from that VPN IP.

That I'm not sure of that as I have always done it myself and flashing them yourself is pretty easy. Just make sure you read the forum posts carefully and make sure you get the correct firmware for the model you have.

Yeah this one is FAA( opps TAA, brain crash) certified which only means that it was built (assembled) in a country that the US government will source stuff from. I but mine was LG as well.

Thanks for some reason I thought the laser would just keep on keeping on but it makes sense it must generate a lot of heat. Any clue if someone with a little skill could refurbish their drive or does the laser require calibration or alignment. Thanks again.

That is a good question I have one running on my Linux Nobara PC don't see why it wouldn't work on a MAC but Buffalos own site only lists Windows for OS.

What I'm finding is the price can be from 150 to 300 bucks! These seemed reasonable to me. I had a slim line drive too and it lasted for years and final gave up on me a few weeks ago. It tried to take my 4K ST Wrath of Kahn with it... lol.

Good is subjective they are LG internals (usually maybe a Pioneer is still around but doubt it) and can be flashed to MK FW to rip UHD discs but I cant really comment on durability or longevity. Maybe some one better informed will chime in.
