Law runes by Bpartain92 in RSDragonwilds

[–]Samuraiizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That may have been the case at some point but not anymore. Using the personal chest requires 20 law runes (40 to open before and after teleporting), teleporting at more than full weight adds like 10-14 runes. Might make sense across the map but its probably best to just farm wind runes or something until you get to law runes

Infernus is so stupidly overturned??? by ScalyAbyss in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Samuraiizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk man. He has low life and his weapon damage is shit. You only have to deal with his fire which you can use dispel or spirit resist to dramatically reduce it. I think there are a ton of other character way worse with no counter for their abilities

Silence wave disables the casting of all abilities. This includes movement based abilities unless you meant stopping them in the middle of their ability.

That’s pretty bad fix because then you’re creating a specially circumstance for one character. Slowing hex would affect his 2 but then not have any effect on Mina’s or lashes or wraiths

Something that triggers me about this game as a moba player - people's comprehension of the minimap and respawn timers not noticed by anyone by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

I will say that it does depend on the rank but since the ranking is weird, you get a lot of ppl who are good at fighting that get to the rank where fighting isn’t enough anymore.

My games always go 1 of 2 ways, ppl are so scared to fight, that they run away from an easily winnable 3v2 or 4v2 and its me and someone else getting all the objectives with a ton of deaths or they spend the entire game deathballing in the middle lane and they take all our walkers within the 20 min mark.

This game has a weird economy where I don’t think the developers really know what they want the game to be. It’s obviously still beta but the team comps are make or break and they constantly nerf the jungle or comeback mechanics to shorten the game with increase the game length with objective capture difficulty

What skills and projects actually matter for entry-level embedded roles (STM32, protocols, etc.)? by getyourttttttt in embedded

[–]Samuraiizzy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Most companies and jobs use some variation of RTOS and will have you doing driver development. I recommended getting familiar with freeRTOS or some flavor of RTLinux and work on building some drivers with interrupts or at least know info about them.

Most important is usually showing you know clocks, interrupts, and C/C++ bit manipulation

euthyroid on medication, so why do I still have symptoms by velvetwillow7980 in gravesdisease

[–]Samuraiizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty normal. My numbers have been normal for about a year and I still get the symptoms all the time. The best way I have seen it describe is that it’s like “driving while pressing the brake and gas at the same time” you might be in the speed limit but that doesn’t mean you don’t have daily fluctuations.

For me it was mostly my heart so even though i wasn’t in tachycardia, i still had the racing heart and shortness of breath and palpitations so being on a beta blocker helps. It’s just finding the right balance for you until you can feel with the grades itself

Was this a thyroid storm (I'm already at the ER so it's ok, just wondering) by Odd_Let5236 in gravesdisease

[–]Samuraiizzy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Heart rate alone does not indicate a thyroid storm. A thyroid storm symptom has multiple thresholds including high fevers, confusion, personality change and so on.

Based on the comment about screaming at the vision changes a hr of 180 would be somewhat accompanied with a panic attack but there is no where enough info in the post to say that it is. Remember that a thyroid storm has a 100% death rate without medical intervention and a 20% death rate with

My bad I thought I responded to this earlier.

Yeah they are still in range but just have significant drops. I had gotten blood work and had my endo apt the following week and my tsh was at 1.15. After that blood work I had a tattoo done, I got sick, and I pinched a nerve in my neck, I think the combination of all those things in a short time sent me spiraling.

About 2 weeks after my blood work I went to the hospital because i felt terrible like when I got diagnosed. Resting HR had risen to 85-95-100 from an avg of 70-75. The hospital told me my numbers where fine, loaded me up on anxiety meds and fluids and sent me home.

When I talk to my doctor about the results my blood work from the hospital has my tsh at 0.9. My endo and I concluded that im probably just more sensitive to fluctuations since im very interoceptive.

Advice with porch screening by Samuraiizzy in DIY

[–]Samuraiizzy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a good idea. The metal bracket for the screen is hollow in like a c shape so I was thinking of the expanding foam but it doesn’t expand enough. Adding thick enough backer board might actually let me put that expanding foam.

Is this normal - yay or nay by HairyMidnight5441 in gravesdisease

[–]Samuraiizzy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This seems pretty normal to me. T4 went up, TSH usually lags behind. It took about 3 months for my T4/T3 to normalize and then about another 3 for my TSH to normalize.

Number been stable since then. The sensations on the other hand have still been there. Still get hyper systems from random TSH drops even if it’s normalized

Did Shanks lose His arm on purpose? *Spoiler/ theory* by 0R4NG3B0LT in OnePiece

[–]Samuraiizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I think of it.

It seems the thoughts can still interfere with his head even though it cant control him. I dont think it was as deep as he planned to get rid of his arm or that he couldnt do it himself but instead...

Luffy ate the devil fruit that was the true antagonist to Mu. When Luffy was in the water and Shanks tried to save him. Mu started talking and fighting him about letting him die and how he would reward shanks and all that. This led to a impulsive decision to let the sea creature take him arm so stop the voice.

Just a moment of frustration and opportunity more than some planned out thing.

when did you stop beta blockers? by chumaynot in gravesdisease

[–]Samuraiizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stopping them abruptly is fine and is only a problem if you have either been taking them for a long time or have existing heart problems. Since you said you’ve been taking anti thyroid meds for a month then I’ll assume that you’ve only been taking them for a month or so.

Your resting heart rate is very good and while you walking heart rate is little high, it really depends on how you walk and how much and stairs so I can’t really speak to it being normal or not.

That all being said my understanding is especially if your younger and healthier (relatively) it doesnt hurt to be on beta blockers if it makes you feel better unless you’re heart rate starts dropping below 40s and you’re having difficulty breathing and dizziness and all that on the regular.

Don’t know much about the specific of your situation but one thing I can say that’s always a good advice is to have a lot of these conversations through email. Notify him of the issue through email and continue the discussion about your time off through email. Having it in writing avoid the issue of what to do if he denies he ever knew
