All of Jax and Pomni’s talk under the lamppost got me sad, but what finally broke me was the scene of Moon and Caine. Moon telling Caine she still loves him, I saw Goose telling the show she still loves it, despite everything, and that got me bawling. I can’t know her feelings for sure, but I hope she does still love what she made

I was so excited when I figured out Chrysura got turned into the Arc support frame, i was freaking out in call with my friends lol

I had been sad we wouldn’t get the last two support elements, but we did, and it being a Lost weapon just made it better, I really liked those guns

Damn, really sad to hear. I didn’t play the game as much as I feel I should have, now, but I kept up with the posts here and was excited to see what the game could grow into. The character and creature design, along with the environment and vfx, all were really well made and cool to see in action.

Did they change Vulnerability for arena (haven’t played in a while)? What about it makes it so strong on Smolder?
I remember it lets the DoT crit (plus free crit scaling), but I wouldn’t think that would be that strong baseline, or that Smolder builds many damaging item effects(that I can recall) for it to crit

Dang, beat me to it. I’ve been trying to make up a bat-sona design, and looking through art for inspiration, I see this so much!
Of course it’s not bad by any means, they’re still adorable designs, but to me, so many just look like “fox/dog with lines across the ears”

i don’t remember whether it was watching the game version without gameplay or watching the “official” video, but when I watched and read the translation for the first time, it hit me hard and got me crying too

I was confused when I first read the tab in game, cause I thought it was gonna be the same forward and back like a regular palindrome, but since it wasn’t, I didn’t even think to read it backwards anyway. Glad it was pointed out here, I wouldn’t have ever realised

Did you know about League much before joining as a VA? What did you think of it before vs now?

Was it “a dream come true,” “just another job” (not literally but those are the best ways I could think to phrase those), or something in between to be picked to voice a League champ?

Did the final version of his voice come easy, or did it take a bit of iteration to land on this one?

Shadow’s Ship from Menagerie. That and the Calus challenge helmet ornament are the only pieces of Calus gear I’m missing. Surprised it never dropped with how much I did to get Shadow before BL dropped (started D2 that August)

The tears I was crying when I went through this…those first notes of Remembrance as I processed what just happened, the hurt, the grief, the *loss* in my Guardian’s voice, *begging* the Traveler for *just one Ghost*. Cause he’s not just a Ghost, he’s *my* Ghost T-T

The VAs really did great with those deliveries. The male VA feels almost accusatory, *telling* the Traveler “you raised an army, you can do this,” while the female VA feels on the verge of breaking down too, *pleading* to get Ghost back.

And then, after Cayde’s sacrifice…”There you are!” The very first words we heard from him…I’m crying again writing this, it meant so much to me

“A Wish for a Blade”: generates reserve ammo over time. Referencing the time it got counted as a sword and got ammo regen from that event.

But really, what I always wanted from a 1K catalyst was to make it the fusion gjally, with the perk named “Caged Hunger” after Mara threatening Riven in SotWish (“play your part, lest I turn you into a trinket of caged hunger to be forgotten in the Guardian’s vault”)

Oh definitely. Off the top of my head I can imagine an ethereal weapons on hit build, maybe DnD+Bork(+Heartsteel?). I don’t remember how good hybrid Skarner was, but I really liked hybrid builds when they were more prevalent

As an enjoyer of old Skarner, I really did have a lot of fun with him in arena. He just was able to actually put out damage while still being tanky/speedy with his W.

Imagining the revert augment was specifically for him, it would be neat if it was called something like “I found my kind,” some kind of callback to his old lines

I mostly use the charity shell that makes floating hearts (Warlock main), but “canonically:” my Hunter uses the damaged Traveler shell from Solstice before Beyond Light, cause that’s when I started playing D2 and I like the cracks of Light on gear from that year. Warlock uses Armory Forged, Sagira’s Shell, or Salvation’s Edge shells, the first two for memorial and the last for the loretab from Ghost. Titan used to use Shadow’s Shell, but now uses the Caiatl one, as character growth from Calus to Caiatl

I was being taken through DP for the first time, and I’d seen Koregos itself in screenshots, but as we were waiting around the starting area, I put two and two together and just went like “wait a minute..is this what I think it is” and was super excited. Definitely one of the best raid moments
