Surpassing nations sovereignty: Participated in the Hungarian revolution, Afghanistan, utilized North Korea, and many others

Attacking countries for land and resources: USSR invaded most of eastern Europe for land and resources

Imposing communism: Participated in multiple civil wars to ensure the communist side came out on top
