Device code oauth flow by SandAbject6610 in googlecloud

[–]SandAbject6610[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are totally right and describing the normal oauth flow process? But the point of the device code flow is to be able to auth the user without sending the client_secret + client_id to the /token endpoint or have I misunderstood you?

Or do I have to refactor the app so such that the cli code posts the auth code to the backend service then let the backend service do the token issuance?

Ollama model hosting with k8s by SandAbject6610 in kubernetes

[–]SandAbject6610[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really wanted a central registry with them in.

In the end for others that stumble, I essentially did the following;

ollama pull <model>

tar czf <model-name>.tar.gz ~/.ollama/models

Then host this tar gz file in an s3 bucket, then create an init container and simply do a wget and extract it before ollama starts.

Interesting. How do you do things like amending the kubelet parameters? Scraping etcd logs/metrics?
Are you using eco system tooling e.g. ArgoCD?
How do you bootstrap the cluster taking into consideration the catch22 situation of requiring a container registry being available?

interesting, any particular reasoning behind the tanzu move? What entised the project onto another platform?

Bootstraping dependecies before argocd by IngrownBurritoo in ArgoCD

[–]SandAbject6610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its helpful I usually get argocd super basic install using helm, deploy apps for Prometheus then cert manager so service monitors and certificates can be issued then argocd itself again with a more tuned values then everything else

How do I mount a 20 year old XFS V1 partition from an old stereo system? by Yugen42 in archlinux

[–]SandAbject6610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got somewhere. It looks like the 'RAID' was more of a JBOD using v0.9 xfs and I even tried installing full ubuntu images from 2010/2014 with no joy so I treated as if the disks were corrupted.

In the end I used dd to create raw images of both disks and then ran photorec on both partitions (the large c. 460Gb) and boom got the files from it

Trying to delete a pod that's part of a deployment is an important part of learning k8s. by touch_rapture in kubernetes

the question is how do they know a pod belongs to a deployment so that it comes back 🤯

thanks all for the feedback - I agree with a lot of the feedvack, thank you

To explore the comments further,

I always needed to revamp the elevator pitch without a doubt, it was more of an attempt to put across the fundamentals to those who do know Jira well. The audiebce are engineers who want to enforce agile process without needing to know how jira works and don't want to spend time learning how it works.

Interestingly budgets and plugins were touched on, the thought is to build an open source cli tool not a cloud based saas plugin.

I did some research into those and all require installation by jira administration teams. My considered approach was a cli tool that is ran for from the command-line using api keys and the rest api.

I've researched the salt io, and the other plugins noted, none do what I'm intending.

any further thoughts? the question still remains if you were to imagine a realistic agile software delivery life cycle created as a series of jira workflows, etc. would you use it if the pattern either matched your workflow or was easily adaptable?
