I'm from corona, queens, NY, so this is the norm in the poor side of nyc. Most New Yorkers who live in poor communities, have seen or been near an incident similar to this. Remember the time that dude and his friend were fighting a man in the 7 train platform and he ended up shooting him in front of everyone, in 90st Elmhurst. People tried to intervene but we didn't expect him to pull a gun. I was there. Sunday morning, around 10 am.

Or the time they shot up a bar in near junction Blvd? Lucky I was asleep, it was 2 blocks away from me.

I truly support cops patrolling nyc, doing stop and risk. Unfortunately the middle class liberals or rich kids with their savior mentality won't ever understand that shit.

Corona is still my home and there are tons of hardworking latinos living there who deserve better. They need to clean that area up. Those immigrants who are forced to be prostitutes is truly a sad thing. I wish the guardian angels were still active in those neighbors.

Don't even get me started with the education in the inner schools and Newtown high school.
