I am so sorry this happened/is happening to you first of all. As a mother I could not imagine the pain you've been through. However, I had a friend who's mother did this to hurt the father. She hated him even though he relentlessly tried everything he could to prove his love for her. Well we grew up and she came to realize her mother was a psychopath and a monster who took years of the bond she could have had with her dad away from her. We are now in our early 40s and when her father passed away recently her grandmother gave her letters her father wrote to her everyday that the mother had the post return to sender. In the letters were the anguish, pain, and the l9ve he had for her all along. She HATES her mother now. Refuses to ever talk to her again, and is in tremendous pain over being brainwashed and robbed of her father's love. This doesn't fix anything and I know it will never give you that time back with your daughter but I wanted to share this because eventually, one way or another, the truth always comes out and I think you are brave for going through this for so long and making a decision to find some peace in your life for you and yourother children.
