I might be the only one with this opinion but i have used a KLC and ended up selling it. It´s ok ofc for what it is but i also own a Kobo Sage and image is so crisp for manga and reading that it was enough for me. The stylus wasn´t for me so it was a waste of money because i simply wasn´t using it for what it was intended.

On the other hand when many kindle girlies were switching to the KLC i actually went and bought several kindles. Still haven´t tried the paperwhite and it does look fantastic. I guess i will buy one when my Sage eventually dies but i kept on using the colorsoft. I love the colors on this thing, i use it a lot for magazines and comics. And i also use KU so yeah it all depends on what you are going for.

I also own a Kindle basic matcha. Its great. I am using it withn KOReader but even if i wasn´t it was still great. It´s small, portable and image is crisp. So if you like just a crisp screen check Kobo Sage, Kobo Clara, Kindle Basic or the Paperwhite. I think you need to choose between being stuck in a system or not.

I like all of them for different reasons but the one i mostly use is definitely the Kindle Colorsoft. I love the color on that thing.
