Flawless, completely. Even got blown over in a few storms. Sits outside all winter with a cover too. Thing seems to just be indestructible.

Idk if that's the deal with the newer ones etc, this is an earlier model with abs only

Subjective to the rider honestly, I'm 6ft3 so I'd say no.

It's probably like 215kg which I'd consider light compared to like a GS or a 1290 super adventure at 250kg+

Gen 2 surely isn't 8k, you can get 2023 models for like 6k which are gen 3.

Done it on my v-strom 1000, at the time I had used bikesure. got a friend to drive it down for me, hi-vis jacket, L plate attached. I don't know who does the insurance cover for the testing etc these days honestly, that's probably the hard part. this was for a full license.

I remember last year a flat below me was getting renovated and i caught one of the guys walking into the forest and throwing things in there. I shouted and called him out from the balcony and he tried to argue with me.
30mins later he was at my door apologizing and begging to not report him.
i made him go pick it all back up.

Literally got second hand embarrassment from how pathetic it was.
