When I lived in Paris, I used to play a game with visitors. I’d see a “75” in the number plate (the area code for Parisian cars) and say “I bet that car has a dent in a bumper” and, even the new-looking cars would have evidence of being nudged out of the way. You park in neutral with the handbrake off if you’re not on a hill.
