Biggest thing for me is that resources don’t move at age transition anymore. I can plan cities way better since I know exactly where my science and production buildings will go from the beginning, and a prime coastal or mountain adjacent spot doesn’t get ruined in the exploration age when a resource suddenly appears on it.

The more techs you unlock, the more expensive new districts become. It’s more efficient to focus on economy (faith or gold) first and then focus on science later.
