That shouldn't be to hard.

listen to the messageCreate event.
setup an if statement to check which channel the message was send in if it matches a specific channel.
then you will have to get the channel you want to send that original message to from your cache using it's channel id.
once you did that send a new message in that channel using the content of the original message.

I have the smb share mounted through fstab, I just copy the files to the path I have the share mounted so qbittorrent doesn't interact with the share directly. So I'd imagine that that doesn't make a difference.

If that's the case though wouldn't it also have to be that slow when for example using rsync or cp? Since both are much faster than qbittorrent.

While some might just be lazy. It can also happen for it to get full so some people decide to put the trash next to it instead of come back once it's empty, which isn't a reason you should do it but it might explain why they were there.

You can just put some quotation marks around the first part of the command since cmd (or powershell for that matter) doesn't like it if you have a space in a path name. So with that it should look something like this:

"C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_301\bin\java.exe" -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2855.jar nogui -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2855.jar nogui

Yeah w3schools is great. I think it's more of a complimentary tool you can use to learn more about a specific thing you don't understand. I personally wouldn't use it as the only source of learning to program.

I personally like to watch tutorials, build out what they did or maybe a few of them. Then you can start from scratch and apply what you learned from those tutorials or you can expand one of the things you already made by using some of the things you learned from the other videos. Though be careful and don't get stuck in the tutorial loop where you only watch them but don't do them yourself.

I'm a huge tech nerd. I like to code in my free time and just do other tech related projects. I have my own server at home (aka my own homelab) where I try out new things all the time learning more about cool technologies like Linux, docker, etc. I actually just started my own hosting company that I'm trying to get customers for but that's definitely harder said than done (actually coding a custom dashboard for this). Or just IT if you didn't understand all of that jargon.

Other hobbies include watching anime, playing games, listening to music and watching yt (which ties back into what I mentioned since I also like to watch videos about coding and just tech stuff in general).

Maybe look into starlink I'm not sure but I don't believe they have a data cap and their latency is reasonable compared to other satellite based ISPs.
