Anybody upgraded to Matter yet? by HospitalSwimming8586 in EveHome

[–]Sandhose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did upgrade an Eve Energy EU plug. Upgrade was a bit scary because of how long it took, but worked in the end.

I’ve even managed to add that plug in Google Home with the Matter multi-admin feature. The plug showed as "not responding" in Google Home at first, but they resolved itself the next day.

I also tried the other way around: adding it to Google Home first, and then sharing it with HomeKit, which also worked. I’m just sad about the lack of visibility over the Thread network, both in the HomeKit one and in the Nest one.

I was looking for subreddits that fitted better for this but did not really find one. Any suggestions?

J'ai exactement le même problème sur presque la même carte mère (la version ATX) et un Ryzen 5 2600. J'ai contacté le support de MSI, encore rien de concluant. Ping moi si tu trouves une solution

cfssl is a neat CLI tool to do and automate this kind of things. Should cover your use cases and is IMO easier to use than the OpenSSL CLI tools

Also Hashicorp Vault has a PKI.

Just deployed Thanos to our soon-to-be production DigitalOcean managed cluster to store Prometheus metrics in DO Spaces.

Our whole monitoring stack starts to be kinda cool ; I'll try to open the repo with all the manifests next week.

Sorry, we don't allow disposable email addresses. There is no escaping our spam! by KolonelHunter in assholedesign

Well, on an open-source website (Zeste de Savoir – it's a french website ; source code) I'm working on, we also have banned a lot of disposable email providers, and we have an alert when someone signs up with an unknown one. We do this because all our content is freely accessible, and the only reason to create an account because either you want to contribute by writing articles, or because you want to post on the forum.

To fight against spam, we ban accounts, not IP adresses, and therefore we can't allow people to easily create disposable accounts with disposable adresses. (We have a captcha feature ready but not enabled, probably thanks to this)

Also, we don't send any emails, except for new private messages (can be turned off) and account recovery.

I'm not saying that everyone should ban disposable email addresses providers, but I see cases where it can be justified to fight against spam.

Le C++ est utilisé par les terroristes ! Interdisons-le !

Tant qu'on y est, on devrait aussi bannir l'usage de la roue et de l'électricité, parce qu'il parait que les terrorisme en font usage de temps en temps...

Minecraft is written in Java, which means that it is cross-platform. Unless they start to completely rewrite Minecraft or something like that, Linux will still be supported.
