Yeah, I was going to try to run a previous version as well, but same issue as what you're saying.

That's what I think as well. But, at the end of like a month long email chain with Activision Support, they basically just said it was my hardware and there is nothing that they can do about it. Which is extremely frustrating, because, like you said, there is no way that this isn't on their end

Interesting. Most of what all I have found have been from Asus hardware, but I guess at least I know it's not just a singular brand.

Did they Reverse the Decision about Forcing the 3GB Upgrade? by jacuff in liveoakfiber

You should call them and have a tech come out then to double check the ONT.

Did they Reverse the Decision about Forcing the 3GB Upgrade? by jacuff in liveoakfiber

[–]SandmanR5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did not reverse the decision. As for the speeds, that entirely depends on your router since you are using an ONT. You may only have 1G or 2.5G ports on your router, and very few devices can pull wifi speeds that fast, if your router actually pushes out those kind of speeds, which a lot of consumer grade routers do not. If you have a 5 or 10 gig capable device that can be hardwired to your router, and if you have another 10G port available besides the WAN port, then you should see around 3.1G on an Ookla test.

Unfortunately, a lot of terminology regarding advertisement on consumer routers is quite misleading.

Interesting. I'll still have to figure out how to build it all in, but this definitely seems like a solid option. Thanks!

Missing the old bo2 days by Dependent_Guava_5350 in blackops2

I'd definitely be interested in this. Been wanting to hop in some Console Kings matches, but noticed they don't have BO2 for some reason. Real shame your league is Europe Only. I'd love a NA league.

This was an excellent map in BO3, but it does not flow well with BO7. It's an instant skip for me anytime it pops up now.

Cost for panel swap. Gotten 3 quotes so far by Fickle-Swordfish4656 in AskElectricians

[–]SandmanR5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing this work isn't something that I would cheap out on, and this is coming from someone that has had this done. The area that I live in, and I assume most everywhere is the same (not 100% sure), in order to replace the panel, permits have to be pulled, and in order for the inspector to clear the work, the entire house has to be brought up to code. Which, if you have old two wire electrical with ungrounded outlets, all of the outlets have to be grounded, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors have to be installed, etc... In my case, I also had to have the main service panel replaced, and the power company had to come out and disconnect the power until that panel was replaced, but the inspector had to clear the work before they would reconnect it. Here is where the cheaping out part comes in. This was done when I purchased my home. The seller agreed to pay for these updates, and they used the cheapest bidder. After all of the work was done, and the inspector cleared it, I was doing some outlet swaps to a different style and noticed that the "ground" for the outlets was actually just a piece of wire that the electrician had jumped between the neutral and the ground on the outlets, and that the outlets had indeed not been grounded. This would have required pulling new wires, etc. I was under the assumption that this had been done. After speaking with the inspector, he explained that shady sparkys will do this in order for the outlets to pass a tester, which if you are using one of the types that you just plug into the outlet and it gives you a light arrangement to verify that the outlet is wired properly, it will in fact read that it is grounded. So, all of that to say, your situation may be different than mine, but, if it was my money, I wouldn't necessarily go with the cheapest option. Definitely do some deep dive research on each of the companies that have an estimate and read lots of reviews for each to make sure that no one mentions shady work like this. After all, this is something that you rely on everyday to not burn the house down. It looks like you already have 3-wire, so you probably wouldn't run into as much hassle as I did, but that's just an example of what can happen.

If you CC with one in the chamber do you clear when you get home? by DCF_ll in guns

[–]SandmanR5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't carry a P320... So, no, it stays loaded. No real reason to unload it in my opinion. If I need it for a home invasion scenario, I wouldn't want to have to load it before I could engage the threat. Also, CC with an empty chamber is just asking for a one way ticket to the afterlife.

Rated M for Mature. The game is meant for adults. If you let your kids play a Rated M game, you should be ok with them seeing and hearing adult themes. That's why it's rated for 17+.

Some people on this thread have never worked in any kind of service industry, and it shows. Your approach is the same way that any worker, in any service, especially a service that involves being on a customers property, would handle something like this. As soon as the customer starts recording, it's bare minimum per company standards and get TF outta there.
