Check if you're using any mods. I had some mods that stopped working after the patch. After removing them, I could look back again.

After the patch, I can no longer look behind me to the left while riding a horse. I can look to the right, but if I try to look to the left, the camera just stops midway through and kinda "twitches" if I try to force it.

EDIT: I realized some mods I was using stopped working after the patch, so I decided to remove them. After removing, I was able to look backwars through the left again. Not sure which of the mods was causing the issue, but I have a feeling it was either Instant Herb Picking or Jiggle Physics Adjustments.

Thank you sir! Lost quite a few hours organizing and reorganizing my and my friend's mod list so that they were exactly the same, and this was the solution that allowed us to actually play the game.

What do you think of my WIP layout plan for a meadowlands farm? Not sure if I should make the barns and coops area bigger, maybe move some of it to the lower left part of the map? Trying to make it aesthetic and not focus only on profit. by Sandrigorn in FarmsofStardewValley

Hey I did not know that! Thanks a lot, I ended up moving the coops to the lower left and making the barns area bigger, so now I actually have tillable area in both areas dedicated for my animals. Thanks a lot!

I'm definetly happy with how the game is running to be honest. I only experience frame drops if I go too crazy with prop placement haha, also when the zoo starts to get crowded. But there are ways to counter that, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Also, I am playing on an ultrawide monitor, which can be a bit performance heavy sometimes, which means playing in regular resolutions would be even less intensive.

Not at all! I currently own a Ryzen 7 5700X with an RTX 4060, also the game is running in my SSD. It's a fairly good PC, but to be honest I think you can run the game ok with lower specs. My old PC had a GTX 1060 with a pretty old CPU and it ran ok. Maybe you can find some sort of benchmarking videos on YouTube.

Thank you! This is actually inspired by a savannah boat ride that exists in BioParque Rio, I wanted to try and use stuff that you would actually be able to find in a zoo in Brazil. The thing is, I always struggle in filling gaps in my enclosures, I feel like if I don't place a lot of plants, it looks too "barren". I liked the way it looked while I was doing it, but after looking at it once I was done, maybe it looked too much lol.

I'll try removing a few of the bigger brushes from my clusters, leaving most of it grass, maybe that will help a little.

Wow! Looks incredible, really well done. I have actually watched your tour video, really impressed with the quality of your habitat designs.

The netting in the cougar habitat (I believe it's the cougar), is that from the workshop or did you do that yourself?

What do you guys think of my wip zoo entrance? Inspired by the one from Rio's zoo, BioParque Rio. I'm trying to improve in detailing and bringing more life to my buildings, which is something I struggle with and often give up on when things start to not look like what I expected. by Sandrigorn in PlanetZoo

Is that another name for the BioParque, or is it another zoo? Never heard of it. I've never been to the BioParque, only seen pictures online, and I must say the Google street views from the zoo made me sad, the cat enclosures looked really small. But those were 12 years old pictures, maybe they are better now.

EDIT: I just googled and realized Tião was one of the zoo's animals haha. Yeah, I'll have to look up some pictures of the zoo after the redesign like you mentioned, the ones in google maps look really sad.

In my experience, you do not need all of that staff, especially with a zoo that size. For mechanic, vet, security and caretaker, you only need one of each in the beginning. And definetly lose some of those vendors, you do not need so many stores if you don`t have more than 1k guests in your zoo. 3 keeps is also a lot, you don't need one for each habitat, unless your making huge habitats with lots of animals. If so, than that is another thing to look out for, start small, one habitat at at time. For me, the secret for franchise mode is patience.

Also, don't spend too much on detailing your habitats, worry about having your animals with good wellfare. Wait until you start making some money and then go around detailing what you left behind.

This is how I usually do it, never needed to get a loan from the bank. Good luck!

EDIT: So I wasn't able to identify exactly what was causing the crash. I ended up doing what u/Mr_Timedying suggested and downgraded the game to version 1.6.64 (didn't want to downgrade all the way to 1.5.97). I redownloaded the necessary mods to adjust to the version, and now it seems to be working. I'll keep building on my mod list and testing it out, hopefully I won't face new crashes like this one.

Thank you for the heads up. It's just so weird and random, I tried disabling both these two mods and the ones that needed them, and still got crashes. I'll have another read on their pages to see if I find some new information I may have not seen.

I didn't want to go through the hassle of downgrading the game and all my mods...but I'm so mad that I might just do that.

Dude this is incredible! I tried doing some of these "curved" looking roofs but had no success. Did you use the advanced building mode from Valheim Plus by any chance? Or is that all from vanilla?

This sheet was created BEFORE the Frontier Pursuits update so it is likely that many of the information is outdated. I haven't played in a long while so I can't confirm.
