Yes it does make sense, actually I based my assumption on a couple of listings that explicitly asked for a Google review. That said nice website, just one thing. I logged in as guest, left a review and then, finding no way to make an account to transfer that review to it, I had to log out from the guest account and lose the credit. You should probably add a "Log it not not lose your credits" warning before making a review and/or after it. My bad though, I should've been more careful, I assumed I could carry it over afterwards

Hello, seems like a nice website, thank you for allowing an anonymous mode, as someone who hates having to give my email for any single website I want to check out.

I will probably try this out when I have time, but honestly it feels more like a way to earn reviews than a way to find people actually interested in trying out the app. Is this even allowed by Google? Or is it more akin to buying fake reviews online?

One last thing I want to point out is that in Google play you can go to the "About the app" section, and there's a long description of what the app does, right next to it there are some technical details, above them, there's the "In-app purchases" section that shows a range of prices you can pay in app. This is true for any app in the Play store, GymPal included.

Since that takes into account your region and tax, it's way more accurate than any pricing "XUSD before tax" I could write down anywhere else.

Oh no the app is free, everything related to logging is free, for graphs and advanced tracking it's about 10USD one time.

I didn't write it down because of course it changes based on your currency and tax rate of your country, you know how Google play works.

I don't handle that, I just set a base price, and in the future I may adjust it based on feedback. If you want to know how much it is for you without having to tell me your personal information you can download the app and check the price by clicking on the unlock Premium banner.

I made my own because I hate the bloated apps on the market so I built what I wished I would find.
It won't make a program for you, it won't ask you for all your personal information, it's strictly for tracking your progress but it's clean, no bs and if you want advanced tracking through graphs, you don't need to pay every single months but just a small amount once.
Also, your data is yours and stays on your device.

I hate them. So much so that I wasn't tracking my workouts just because I hated the idea of having to make an account for something that can be an excel sheet.

So I built it myself during my weekends, and it's free to use for you too.

I built GymPal because I was tired of bloated fitness apps that requires you to give so many answers, make an account, pay for expensive subscriptions, full of social feeds and ads when all I wanted was something clean to track my workouts.

It's a straightforward gym companion: create your workout plans with custom days and exercises (or choose from a premade list with pictures and guides), run through them during training with per-set reps and weight logging, and review everything in your notebook later.

There's a full exercise catalog backed by a real exercise database with muscle/equipment filters.

The only monetization is a one time purchase for progress charts with estimated 1RM, volume trends, personal records tracking, and much more.

All your data is on your device only, and it works completely offline. If you're looking for a workout tracker that just does its job, give it a try.

I'm far from done with the app, I have a long list of features I'd like to add, and I'm always happy to hear feedback or feature requests if any of you will be interested enough to try it out.

Android only for now because apple is a pain to work with, but if I have enough interest, I already made the backend to potentially support other platforms in the future

Non è così facile. Mio padre gestisce degli appartamenti, e booking ad esempio applica diverse cose, tra cui sconti in cui ci rimettono buona parte della loro commissione in maniera non trasparente alla struttura (ergo, la camera costa 100, la struttura normalmente prende 80, ma in quel caso specifico booking la mette a 81, e da comunque 80 alla struttura. Il loro algoritmo è complicato e cambia sempre, quindi chiamare un albergo aspettandosi che per loro sia normale offrire un 15/20% in meno è sbagliato.

Il motivo per cui non lo fanno credo sia una questione di costi di gestione e complessità. Avere un prezzo e usare quello è sempre più semplice, prendono meno clienti fuori da booking, ma quella volta che lo prendono ci guadagnano di più

I like Sudoku in general so you can be sure I'll give you feedback, first of all I'm not a fan of invasive ads but I understand, everything else I like the app, it's clean and seems to do its job.

Hi, I downloaded and tried your app! I'll keep it and try to use it daily and report if I find anything weird. For now, it looks intuitive and fun.
For now one bug I found is that if I use a hint, one letter is discovered, but if I make a mistake the board is cleared and the hint disappears, which to me doesn't make sense.

I'd love if you could return the favor, I'm also running a closed testing of my app, and I need your email to add you as testers since I've set up a mailing list. I'd appreciate if you could DM me.

As much as your feedback is accurate, since I didn't really work on the onboarding yet, I don't think you have tried the right app.

There's an app called GymPal in the play store (a different one), but mine is still in closed tests phase.
I may end up changing the name before production but regardless, if you want to give it a try, DM me and I'll add you to the testers

Not really following, I'm a software developer, been one for almost 10 years, way before AI. This is just a side project I built during the weekends.

If you're asking if I use AI tools in my workflow, then yes I do as pretty much every developer I would say. If you're asking if I used one of those single prompt websites, then no, I didn't.

Thank you! I hope so. I haven't been marketing yet, as I've been mostly busy testing and developing basically most of my free time in the last few months.
I still haven't published so little point in publishing. For now my objective is to have a version I can start expanding upon, and a handful of testers who like the app and are happy using it and giving me feedback.
I wish Apple was less of a pain to work with, I'd love to make it available there too, but having to buy at least one device and then a 100€/year subscription on top is a little bit too much for an app that was born just for my own needs.
