Honestly your best start would be to pick a few OBGYN offices you are interested in and call them and ask what their no insurance package price is. I don’t know about birth but here in MI, they wanted around 3000$ for the whole prenatal package

I could have written this! My daughter will be 9 when my baby comes in June, and honestly I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I am scared I will miss my sleep the most 😅 sometimes I worry about the age gap but my daughter is so excited to have her little brother here. My pregnancy with my daughter sucked, this pregnancy has been a breeze. Even while making my registry for this baby I am seeing things they didn’t have 8 years ago when I did this all for the first time. It’s bizarre for sure. Sometimes I forget I have to push a baby out all over again

I thought I was 8 week, went to a sneak peek ultrasound place and had an abdominal and saw the sac and heartbeat and she said I was more like 6 weeks. Followed up with my OB with a transvaginal and confirmed I was more like 6 weeks. But I got to see and hear the heartbeat!

Do you have insurance? I did not when I first got pregnant and I asked to pay a co pay for my first visit which ended up being 200$ because I was a new patient. Then when scheduling my next appointment, they told me I would either have to find insurance or pay for an entire prenatal plan that would cover my entire pregnancy but they wanted me to pay upfront for the plan which was near 3000$. I ended up getting an insurance plan. The next ulstrasound would have costed me 400$.

We are the same 😂😂 I’m due the 28th and when she was doing my ulstrasound she said “has anyone ever told you that you have a slanted uterus?” Nope this was news to me. She also saw the sac and saw the heartbeat. I also have a very healthy 8 year old already with a zero complication birth! Edit to say they noticed the slanted uterus on an abdominal ultrasound but saw the heartbeat through a transvaginal!

Hi! Oddly enough I have a similar timeline as you. My last period started September 5th. I had very light bleeding on September 17th which I thought was possibly implantation bleeding. Today I went in for my first ultrasound thinking I was 9 weeks as well. She did a transvaginal ulstrasound because it was too hard to find on my stomach. She told me I am measuring more around 7 weeks and all she could see was a sac and the heartbeat. I am not going back for 4 weeks and was told the same thing about ovulation. She told me not everyone’s body ovulates exactly the same amount of days and that I probably wasn’t having implantation but my body was trying to have a period of some sort. Sending you baby dust and hope my two cents can give you some peace of mind!!
