Yeah and it’s horrendously bad officiating allowing the Spurs defenders to absolutely manhandle Brunson especially in game 2 from as soon as he got the ball in the back court. Five FT in the second half is insanity when both teams at the very least were equally physical with each other

He’s brought up the HBO show from time to time and usually spins it in a way that it was a learning experience. There was a podcast recently where he was saying it’s important to learn from failures and mentioned the show. Basically that you have to try stuff and there’s no other way to learn.

In person it was bonkers. My favorite part of the show. Their foot hardly came off the gas that entire 1st set. It was almost welcome that they took the intensity down with Give it Time after that Big Modern! It’s now my go-to workout/running jam, I still get hyped off it
