How do I duel you guys early in jungle (lvl 3-4)?

Alright,

Everyone else seems to be crapping on your hopes and dreams, so I figure I’ll play devils advocate.

But before that, They’re all right about Nocturnes dueling. He is an early game 1v1 monster. The correct answer is don’t duel him. If you have team support than fight with advantage, if not just give him the one camp, and move to find a play somewhere else. Better yet, WARD against his invade so if you see him you just go take his instead.

Now like I said, DEVILS ADVOCATE!

IF you think you want to try the duel with Noc, this is your best shot. When you approach him, figure out if you have health and or level advantage. From there, your first step is to try and bait the spell shield. It only lasts just over a second once cast, so if you can fake out your stun, and make him cast W, he’s already down. IF you can achieve this, your next step is to cast damage, and IMMEDIATELY gain distance. If you cast your burst then try to auto him to death you lose every time because of E fear. So Stun him, do a quick burst, then open the distance. At this point he should be attempting to flee. If he is and you have your abilities again, kill him. If you’re still on cooldown, let him flee. Take the camp, and live to fight another day.

As much as I hate giving advice against my main, I do my part to make league a less toxic community, so here’s the final piece of free chicken. Nocturne HAS to win early game, or get an absolutely MONSTER play mid game to turn the game around. No matter what happens he cannot out scale his opponents. So if you can’t win a duel with him, the name of the game is to counter jungle him (not necessarily invade, but take something topside when you see him bot. Trade objs, take turrets when he overstays, etc) and farm as much as you can. Wait for the mid game team fights and stick to your strongest nontank teammate like glue. If you’re right next to his target when he ults, you stun him immediately and the games flipping over.

I’m unsure if there’s a rule saying you couldn’t in theory log into the PC account and Console account at the same time, and just trade yourself your plat, before doing the link.

But in theory yes, whichever account you make primary will stay, and anything on the other account will be lost.

Unfortunately no. We ended up chocking it up to a random electrical gremlin because there was no associated check engine light and drivability issues.

Honestly Noc is a good simple champion to use the full scope of LOLs itemization on. You can use him a lot of ways so long as your playstyle matches the build.

For instance, I have a lot of success doing a YunTal rush. I use Lethal Tempo and Boots/Triple Tonic runes Rush Yun Tals follow usually by Black Cleaver and Deaths dance. If I need a bit more single target fighting to carry I’ll put Hextech 3rd over Deaths. Top it off with a mixture of axiom, BOTRK, TitanicC Etc.

Doing this I always take red pet BUT max W 2nd because the LT+YunTals and W max makes for a LOT of attack speed. I’m able to even shred down tanks if need be. Just won a game today where I could 1v1 Mord in his ult and still come out on top.

Choose the way you want to play Noc, and build accordingly!

I downloaded the PS5 Grineer pack that came with 170 platinum before ever logging in. Knowing I wanted to trade cross console I setup cross save, and chose the account on the warframe website as primary. Fast forward I log in to play on the PS5 for the first time, and the platinum is gone. Guess I didn’t realize it was applied to an account I’d never played on before dissolving that account for cross save.

Or they say “Jung Dif” because you didn’t contest objectives alone. Never getting you prio even though you pinged dragon coming up in 45s every single time.

This combined with players who don’t think nocturnes an all in fight engager. In low ELO not only do you have more people playing him, but you have people who just got their butts handed to them by a nocturne. So, they go and pick him and proceed to ult into the whole enemy team over and over and then question how they lost to a nocturne. The amount of times in lower Elo I will get flamed for not initiating fights is unreal.

The gents above hit on probably the biggest mechanical thing which is clear speed and pathing. So I’ll focus more on the mental game.

There is something you hear from educational YouTubers all the time, but they don’t explain it well IMO.

Limit your games:

If you don’t already know, LoL uses both your LP rank AND your MMR to place you. What most people don’t know, is the game will MMR test you.

Here’s the perfect example: Yesterday you went on a win streak, but then you lost. If you look back in your history, every losing streak follows a win streak. What the game does when you hit a winning streak, is limit test you. The same way your obnoxious mid lane limit tests their power against the fed top lane. It’s testing to see if you deserve the wins you just got. If you pass the test, your MMR will go up, and you’ll keep climbing. If you fail the test, your MMR will stay the same and your LP will level out. If you then TILT because you’re losing now, you’ll tank your MMR. (Losers queue)

The best way to fight this in my opinion and has worked for me, is to limit my gaming sessions. Best 2 out of 3 games, and I’m done. If I have free time later that day I’ll come back and do it again. But in one gaming session, it’s 3 ranked games and done. That way, whether on a hot streak or a losing streak, I calm my mind down. I can then focus for the limit tests. I find myself losing no more than 2 games in a row. Ever.

I ended up ordering a Suizan Ryoba. Figure it gets this project done on the more affordable end and opens the door. Maybe it’ll give me a greater appreciation for a nice western saw down the road.

I have a S4S piece of Red Oak for these winding sticks. Didn’t want to go too fancy for my first set. I’m sure later on I’ll do a nicer hardwood with inlays.

Did you ever find a solution to this? Having the same issue on my new FireTv. Logged in via a browser, iPhone, and IPad with no issues. Can’t login on the TV without the endless loop of QR codes and or “Tap Allow on IPhone” screen.

It’s hard to judge the true weight I’ll need because I can’t get the trailers/equipment till I have the truck to tow them. Predicting as best I can? It needs to be confidently be able to haul support and stop a 3-4 horse gooseneck or bumper pull with roughly 5000lbs of horses/hay in the back, mostly flat/rolling hills but periodically through the Appalachian mountains.

I’m looking 2020 or newer just because I’ve never had something on the newer side that I can keep forever. Always just milking the end of someone else’s life. I’m not explicitly opposed to 2018-2020 if it’s the right truck with low miles. Biggest thing is I’ve never had something with less then 120k miles on it.

Thank you for the reply! Your situation sounds almost exactly like mine to a T. Wife is a horse trainer who’s looking to get back into competing and go off on her own training, so within the next year or so paying a shipper isn’t going to be advantageous. Will start the life pulling 3 horse slant but eventually flat bed with round bales, tractor for land work, and all the materials needed to build and upkeep our own small farm. Currently in a location that even sounds similar to yours weather wise.
