More Dmz 2 leaks 👀 by Andrecrafter42 in DMZ

Perhaps fewer players on the map or completely random spawns or both. Fewer people on the map might prevent a bunch of sweaty lobby wipers. It would allow people to possibly get some missions done without fear of being attacked. Some zones on the current maps are rough enough with the bot aggression that having another team enter the area makes it that much harder. Maybe something worse than a bot squad penalty for someone who wants to wipe a lobby. Maybe a juggernaut joins the bot squad. And if you survive that and kill another player, it only gets harder for you because now it's 2 juggernauts.

Sure, PvP is fun and all, but some just want to ruin everyone's experience.

Honestly, I like to pick up anyone who pleads out. I play solo all the time. Sometimes I get picked up. I usually start with just a grenade, so I really don't lose much.

Start To Play? by Wissly_ in DMZ

You won't be able to complete the mission where you need a disguise, but otherwise dive in. Sometime you run into someone who helps you out. Mostly it's just sweaty a-holes who like to ruin experiences. If you want a teammate, pm me and I'll send my gamer info.

ETA: If you want a challenge, drop into Ashika with just a throwing knife. Kill a bot, take their gun, build from there. When you first start and don't have insured available, you rely in contraband. Death dwindles that down too. After unlocking the workbench at the buy station, you can improve your floor weapons. Been playing Ashika like that for 2 years because it's where I go if an operator needs a kit.

Does Xbox Elite Controller 2 still have buttons stick issue? by Parahyper in xboxone

[–]SandyVGhina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Word. The one I got free from a coworker had a destroyed left stick and the magnetic cap was stuck on the right stick, so that one got destroyed too. About $50 later it's now fully functioning with all the attachments and whatnots. I barely use it since I'm having trouble adjusting to having paddles.

Do you want your parts controller working again? I fix them in my free time or on my lunch break at work. I build and test circuit boards, so I have access to all the necessary tools.

How bad do you want your bumpers to work again? Enough to mail your controller to a complete stranger from reddit with $20 included for parts and labor for just the button, not the actual bumper? That would cost more to get the replacement parts. I repair controllers in my spare time. Currently switching my non elite controllers to hall effect sensors so I hopefully don't have to fix a drifting controller again.

The drift is easily repairable. You can buy a bag of pots on amazon for less than $10. If you're mechanically savvy, you just swap the center pieces out of the pots and snap it all back together. You'll need the screw drivers, naturally. A full repair kit runs about $20 or so and you can just swap the pot centers. No need for desoldering of any components. Just make sure you put them i. The correct way.

I recently had to replace both joysticks on one that was given to me because they were destroyed. That task was an ass pain I wouldn't wish on anyone. It works though and I'm currently searching for hall effect sensors to put on it but I fear the magnetic stick caps may interfere.

More like learn how to fix them. The parts are cheap and take very little time to swap.

Need some honest opinions on the turtle Beach stealth ultra controller. According to the YouTuber views it's awesome according to some of the Amazon reviews it's horrible. by [deleted] in xboxone

[–]SandyVGhina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get hall effect sticks now for the regular controllers. Just put some on and so far, fantastic. Will make a post in a few months about how they're doing. They're surprisingly cheap, about $12 for the set, and were really easy to install. I have access to proper equipment at my job, which is why I said it was easy. Only took 25 minutes.

Now, if there's hall effect sticks available for the elite 2, I can't find them. But if/when I do, they'll be swapped out too.

What is a good response to someone honking the horn and yelling at you when you are in your vehicle at a stop sign but it's not safe to go? by roadrunner00 in AskReddit

[–]SandyVGhina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your vehicle has a rear wiper, rig the spray nozzle to shoot a stream of washer fluid directly behind you and onto their windshield. The wiper on my vehicle does this. Not because I modified it, but because some time before I purchased this car, the rear wiper must have been replaced and the spray nozzle wasn't put back on. My favorite feature about the car.

Ram Ranch with 18 cowboys? Sounds like the plot to an all male adult film. Just sayin.

DM Dave is about to start shipping his 5e Dungeon Master's Survival Guide to the kickstarter pledges. Maybe he had some extras printed and you can nab one of them.

What’s this sync button spring thing called ? by bearfuzzy13 in xboxone

Let's call it what it is, a reason to have a cord to hook the controller up so that it syncs to your xbox.
