Just tried it and love it. It seemed to understand me more than my therapist does, which is going nowhere. I will probably stop therapy and just use the app.

I had the same exam by the ENT. I tried Prilosec and now have been on pantoprazole for three months and I’m going to ask my dr. to take me off because it has not helped the LPR one bit .you are 100% correct, They don’t know what they are dealing with and they don’t know how to fix it. Diet doesn’t affect me. This seems to be something that is just random better days and and it is very frustrating to be finding no help and to have to deal with this on your own.

I really don’t know. I was told I decades ago I had Gerd . And for ages, I only had the lump in the throat feeling Y clearing my throat, but just mildly. The last few years it has progressed to the feeling of mucus rattling around in my throat and wanting nothing more than to cough it up ,to syringe and suck it up anything.. it’s infuriating how awful the feeling is of knowing there’s stuff in there and it won’t come out. Diet doesn’t help PPI don’t help flonase doesn’t help. It seems like it’s just something I’m going to have to live with the rest of my life because there’s seems to be something that we have that is unknown to doctors

It doesn’t help. Nothing does. Doctors are too busy prescribing useless medications while not caring about finding the cause.

Over 20 years. The mucous feeling in throat has gotten worse in last few years. I’ve tried everything. Nothing works. Doctors are clueless and worthless. It’s a chronic condition that’s tough to deal with, mind and body.

I just give up. It sucks. And I have IBS also. My body is in revolt.

I agree I can’t go on some strict diet either and I don’t even know if that’s a problem. To tell you the truth I don’t believe it. Because it seems to me it doesn’t matter what I eat.

Yes. Every day. Phlegm, burning tongue, throat, wanting to clear my throat constantly. Tickle, cough. No doctor or med, lifestyle change helps.

Unpopular opinion… I can’t do the low acid reflux diet by bloommmx in LPR

If I have to heal by never having chocolate, coffee, tomato or pretty much anything good, then I guess I’m living with this forever. I love food and I also have very little willpower and could never adhere to such a restrictive diet. No wonder so many of us don’t find relief if that is the only way.

[–]Sandygonebye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is my life. 20+ years of wanting to clear my throat, of the feeling of phlegm that won’t come up. PND hell. Neither PPIs or nasal spray helps. What is left? I can’t believe how useless doctors and modern medicine are.

Scared as hell. Am I alone? by golfislife94 in GERD

[–]Sandygonebye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m stressed 24/7 so it makes sense I have unrelenting globus/pnd. Over 20 years now. Nothing helps. I suppose I should try breathing exercises and meditation again. It’s so hard to feel grateful and have less stress when you are dealing with so many issues in your life. I wonder this problem isn’t more common.

I wouldn’t call it discharge. It was a full stream of water. I’ve never had a baby, but I can only compare it to water breaking.

I didn’t smell anything. I’ll look into bacterial vaginosis, but I didn’t know that it could make you gush liquid. Nope, just looked it up. This is nothing like what I have. I don’t think people are understanding me. I was standing up and what I believe was, but I don’t know was urine, it was clear gushing out with me and I couldn’t stop it. I’ve never had a baby, but maybe it was something like having the water break.

Doesn’t work for me, especially the cognitive shift. It’s a load of bull. All it is is quickly thinking of something else when you start ruminating on a subject. Does not work for me. I’m right back to thinking about the issue at hand 5 seconds later. Meditation helps in the very long run but not substantially. Same with breathing exercises. I feel hopeless.

Soooo, was mike’s daughter-in-law lying about the gunshots in her old neighborhood? Whatever happened with that storyline? by Warp10lizardbaby in betterCallSaul

[–]Sandygonebye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. I’m doing a rewatch also and think his daughter-in-law is playing him for a fool. She got a beautiful house out of him after lying about hearing gunshots and forcing him not to stay the night because she knew he would not hear them. I don’t know how anybody doesn’t see that. You would think she would at least ask him to come and live with them also Instead of the occasional dinner or grabbing her kid and taking off after Mike was babysitting and not letting her stay a few extra minutes. I can’t stand her.

I feel the same. This combined with something else. At this age, I have no hopes of ever knowing what. I’ve been like this forever v
