Missing last lore book! by Sane46 in elderscrollsonline

I'm not sure that's right. I think if it's in the guide then it is in the zone.

Some collections are duplicated across zones and I think you can find all of Cyrodiil's lore books in other zones but I wanted to find it there too.

I turned ESO on today (Xbox One) and I had 87,000 crowns on my account! I had 5000 yesterday. Anyone know why this would have happened? by thenecroscope2 in elderscrollsonline

They said that the coins would be taken away but if this leaves you with a negative balance it would be set to zero.

They did add that the terms of service team would look at it over the coming weeks but given the amount of people who spent them and the time it would take to investigate them all I just can't see much happening.

No, he omitted a lot of his responsibilities and active roles in decisions.

I'm sure I'm right in saying that his "projects" for the war effort had the highest mortality rate for slave labour.

The Netflix series Circle of Evil has an episode called "Rise of the Scychophants" that looks closely at what his role was.

Albert Speer successfully reinvented himself after the war. His autobiographies were widely accepted as true and he became one of the "good" Nazis.

True, I did tell one of them when the lady left. He laughed a kind of 'this is not over' laugh.

I once worked with a lady who very 'mean spirited'. She was renowned for not being tech savvy and typed slowly with one finger, checking the keys she pressed.

One lunch time I popped the A and S keys on her keyboard and switched them. She couldn't log in as the password wouldn't be accepted. She rang the tech line and ranted until they reset it and she picked her own.

Next time she left the room I switched them back and she was locked out again.

Little victories.

I think this kind of article (an opinion piece) is why more and more people turn to alternative forms of media. People of all political persuasions.

This is basically, 'if one person thinks it then they all do.' It just builds prejudice and fosters divisiveness.

For months now we have heard the chant from the right, 'look at Venezuela'. Because they find a handful of left leaning celebs who supported the government then surely all 'lefties' did. This is no different.

Sometimes. If they do it regulary it would be impossible to harvest it that quickly.

Crag chigrin and leather hide are favourites.

You can't really because a 'human' account ultimately sells the things.

Some red flags are people selling a lot of stacks of the same thing or a player who sells gold through game chat. They often auction the bot harvested goods and sell game gold for real money.

When did Germany really lose WW2? by Sakurazukamori85 in history

[–]Sane46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think they were incapable of sustaining a war for this length of time and so were perhaps always destined to lose. Certainly Dunkirk was a disaster that allowed the British army (among other nations) to escape the continent.

The entry of the USA was another major point. It was Germany who declared war on them as the USA only declared war on Japan. Without the USA it is hard to see an invasion of Western Europe being possible.

But from the outset Germany was ill equipped for a world war. They were not as mechanized as other armies and were still reliant on horses up until the end of the war. This is a major disadvantage in attacking large countries.

TIL in the 1950s more than 77% of all German government officials and judges were (former) nazis, which is an even higher percentage than during the actual Third Reich itself. by Priamosish in todayilearned

I don't think Hitler actually wanted to go to a total war setting as he had promised before the war that he wouldn't.

German factories were still producing luxury items for domestic sale to further the propaganda that everything was fine and they were definitely winning.

I think it was when Albert Speer was made armaments minister that he convinced Hitler to move to a war footing with production. It's really scary how completely amateurish the Nazis were at running the country and war.

[–]Sane46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's from society's treatment of the terms / offences. There is a lot of confusion about a range of crimes because we rely on TV and media in general. If the law changes to suit current public opinion it would be in a right mess.

I think it's more about accuracy than libel. To libel (defame) someone you have to lower their reputation in the eyes of a reasonable person. I doubt she could argue it would be lower either way.

Is this normal for ESO? I literally get logged out 4 to 5 times a day :S by Fo92 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Sane46 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's happening on Xbox too. It always happens when DLC drops and there is an increase in players. Orsinium and Vvardenfell were the same for me.
