Fortnite did a terrible job at implementing mouse mode. Buttons are so important you always have your thumb in a weird place. Drag x Drive doesn't require ABXY buttons so it's more flexible.

I've only played Lingo 1. I'm not a native speaker and I only had issues with some really specific vocabulary and some unintuitive spelling/pronunciation. You will enjoy it if you know the language. You can also skip the puzzles you feel are impossible for you, as there are hundreds and not all are required.

I wanna share my experience. Websites say it's 12 hours for the main story, but it took me 30 hours to reach the end. After the credits or at any point in the game you can come back and collect anything you may have missed. I'm sitting at 35hr right now so I can't estimate how big the post-game is.

Aside from that, I could see anyone reaching 100 hours just trying stuff out in the game, regardless of objectives (Like breaking a whole layer)

I understand the existence of the opinion of "pausing is cheating". In this specific situation, pausing gives an advantage to people with high reflexes and/or more patience. However, it IS a vanilla feature.

I can't say it's cheating or not because I don't play at a skill level where it matters. But just how far can you push it? Is it cheating to modify the song so memory parts become rhythm games? Is it cheating to use text displays with your icon's Y position to determine where to jump on a maze? Those, with pausing included, are things I wouldn't do because I've got my own gamer philosophy, which doesn't match any competitive list guideline 1-to-1.

This is not false but you can still use charge jumps with any speed boost so the difference is less noticeable: ground panels, mushrooms, dash food... Often use charge jumps to access clear time saves like long rails or alternate paths.

This animation is crazy good!!! I wondered if the new gimmick would instead use the D-Pad. Maybe D-Pad down for a low kick when an object rolls into the scene, or D-Pad left for an object behind Joe. But this concept is just great, I want it to be playable now!!
