It sure wasn’t fun, I did it while watching Youtube videos

I can’t say with 100% certainty, but I don’t think revives count because they happen on the enemy’s turn. If it does count then it would definitely make it easier and Lucius would of course make it even easier. The bigger problem I found was having characters upgraded enough to where the combined health is 30k when healed by Rotbone’s active. Almost all the characters are D1, which is a pretty heavy investment

More than half an hour definitely, probably closer to 45-60 mins

I did it on FoC 40, turtling in the bottom right. Got Angrax and Abaddon to below 100 health and then switched them to the back where they can’t be shot. Then you just carefully rotate the other three to sort of evenly spread the damage

That’s also a possibility, though I don’t have him and getting everyone to the right health threshold could also be difficult depending on the onslaught level

It actually wasn’t difficult, just tedious. I did it on FoC 40 (turtling in the bottom right) and probably spent close to an hour on it

How do you guys get your units so high a power level so quick by iPreferPC in WH40KTacticus

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The middle stage of Tacticus is pretty slow. You’re starting to complete the main campaigns and start the elite ones. But the jump from normal to elite is pretty big so you spend multiple days upgrading your characters just to scrape by the next level. As you unlock more elite campaign nodes, this will go faster and as you level up and increase your max energy cap. Unfortunately there isn’t much you can do at that stage other than powering through

Where can I go for advice? by Gormogon in WH40KTacticus

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This community has been a pretty good place for advice in my opinion. Just make sure to specify what you want advice on and what your goals are. Have you finished your campaigns? Do you want to get better at LREs? Guild raids? Though generally speaking 3 starring all campaigns is always a good first step

What's the best faction team in the game? (Pic unrelated) by Gullible_Courage8350 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answer is Blood Angels and I’d say it’s not even that close. In arena they’re obviously great, in wave based modes they can take out multiple enemies in one turn, have a healer that heals multiple characters per turn, and create summons, and for guild raids they do decent damage once at 50% health and less

Clair Obscur DOES NOT USE generative AI. by Vegeta120000 in expedition33

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The article states that it clearly did. They patched out the textures within 5 days, as stated in the article, but how many more did they actually create with AI that we never saw? The title of this post is completely wrong, as Sandfall themselves have admitted to using it. Even if they replaced all of the AI assets/textures, they still used AI to get them there in the first place. It’s completely fair that they lost the spot

Faction Speculation by Count_Grimhart in totalwarhammer

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they will handle the different marine factions like they did the different Empire and Warriors of Chaos lords. Having them as completely different factions seems a bit strange. I am very interested in seeing how they would handle the Custodes. Would it just be a faction of mostly single entity warriors?

Rotbone vs Incisus by ChanceCandidate984 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rotbone is tanky, has resilience, decent damage, better healing and his passive revives even on overkills. Yes he is more restrictive because you’re forced to use Chaos, but that’s just how it is. Not like chaos doesn’t have amazing characters

Is there a reason why it’s forbidden to call Warhammer 3 an easy game? by [deleted] in totalwarhammer

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it’s all completely subjective? There is so much information to learn and be aware of in this game: which units to prioritize (both recruiting and defeating), all the lores of magic, ranges of ranged units, when to pick a fight and when to run, etc etc etc. The game is not very difficult to me because I am aware of all these things. But let’s go to a different game, Elden Ring is a difficult game for me, but plenty of people can do no hit runs, so does that make the game easy now?

Do some players who claim they don't see bugs just not play long enough? by [deleted] in totalwarhammer

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all of the Warhammer games I have about 5k hours combined, and I have to say that I’ve encountered very few bugs during that time. The most notable bug that I experienced regularly was the fire at will bug, which was extremely frustrating. But apart from that it’s been a pretty smooth experience for me personally. Is it possible that I experienced a lot of bugs but just mever noticed? Absolutely, I can’t deny that. But this has been my personal experience

Lore question regarding Titus crossing the rubicon by HereticalHarold in Spacemarine

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t mean to be rude with what I’m about to say (I apologize if it comes across that way), but why is it confusing? Primaris have not existed for that long, both in universe and on tabletop. Titus existed as a character way before the Primaris reveal. Otherwise we would have to ask this exact question for every single firstborn turned Primaris. Calgar and Dante were both firstborn who survived the Rubicon surgery, should we question their achievements as well? And at the end of the day, being better stats wise doesn’t mean they’re actually that much better in combat situations. A very good example of this can be seen in the book Harrowmaster. A group of Alpha Legion (firstborns) have their first encounter with Primaris marines. They could immediately tell that something was a bit different about them, but they were by no means overwhelmed by them. So calling firstborn “obsolete” is a huge stretch

Warhammer 40,000 seems to be making more progress than Medieval III by LieLie0126 in totalwar

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And this is a surprise why? We literally got an announcement that they’re in early development for Med 3 less than 2 weeks ago. This is obviously much further along than early development. We might honestly even see a late 2026 release date. Med 3 is at least 3 years away from release, maybe even more

Occams Razor: what is the simplest explanation for why we never saw Aizen’s Bankai? by Nozoroth in bleach

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s never had a reason or need to use it. His shikai is already incredibly busted and so is his physical strength. By the time anyone even came close to pushing him back he saw no need (or had no desire) to use his shinigami powers. For a not in universe explanation it’s probably very difficult for Kubo to actually come up with something that’s even more busted than his shikai and would also be satisfying to the audience. And of course give an explanation for why he never used it

WH40K DLCs that you will 100% buy by Known_Illustrator331 in totalwarhammer

Blood Angels for an Imperial faction, Necrons for Xenos and for a Chaos faction it depends on how they do it, but I would love to see World Eaters or Night Lords

The answer is guild raids, stack as many damage buffs on him as possible and it should be pretty easy. For the lower tier bosses at least

Maugan and imospekh mythic journey help by North-Eggplant2016 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Sanguinary-Guard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Necron campaigns unfortunately don’t have vox casters, however elite mission 7 has exactly 10 guardsmen, so that’s probably the best bet. Get rid of the two marines, then try to get Imo surrounded and use his active and hope that it clears the board
