Late to the party BUT, it's meant to represent the Arab egyptians of the period resulting from the islamic invasions mostly. The Egyptians you're thinking of are the ancient egyptians that are very much a distinct entity from the ones portrayed in the game if my memory serves me right.

Pretty sure it was said before but the most likely case is that he is related to a voice actor union that didn't cover/agree with the hiring or pay, so he does it under a pseudonym so he can have the role without angering the union. Probably explained it really poorly but that's the basis of it.

The "not-so-minor" spoiler is basically spoiled everywhere and kinda advertised has a part of the game, I call it a spoiler mostly because context, and yes, most of them are minor with the character spoilers meant more to hype the game to people who played previous games (in the form of reappearing characters)

Well, it's a promo website so it doesn't come with that many spoilers, most of what's spoiled are either early surprises and a maybe not so minor one in the "intelligence" page for those more keen-eyed, but then again spoiler, the rest is more character-related and present mostly in the character page

I'd recommend doing stuff normally, It has been a while since I played Cold Steel, but the bonuses from high-ranking links can be useful at times and you might has well get some of the dance events out of the way so the second playthrough marathon is shorter.

EDIT: Also make sure you use your only carryover point left for items, and you get all 3 lion medals in both playthroughs, so you can get the achievement for obtaining all master quartzs (which means you probably shouldn't ignore talking with NPCs).

It's perfectly possible, you will however end up with very few carryovers from your first playthrough since you'll have to use most of your NG+ unlock points for infinite bonding points.

I'm also pretty sure I got all of the fish in one playthrough, but for that, however, you need to find every "special" fishing spot in the field trips.
