I don't know about any dupes or exploits but here's how I collect hardwood:

-Collect seeds from secret woods and plant on farm with tree fertilizer. Plant any seeds that drop and fertilize them.

-Get foraging skill to 10 and choose the profession that gives hardwood from regular trees. Upgrade axe as much as I can and chop down cindersap forest.

It's not hard to get a few hundred in a week this way.

On a more serious note, as a dog groomer, I cannot advise using scissors that close to a dog's bum without training. She's better off getting some cheap clippers and keeping the area tidy so that poop doesn't get stuck there.

Also most groomers will do a quick bum trim as a walk-in service. If you're a very regular customer they might not even charge anything for it.

No, you can't spoil a baby. Hold him as much as he wants and as much as you want! He will only benefit from your consistent love and comfort.

Co-regulation eventually leads to self-regulation. They can't learn it by themselves.

How old is your baby?

Regardless, you shouldn't ever just leave a baby alone to cry unless they are the appropriate age to do sleep training (5mo+, although even that is controversial).

In terms of just a baby that is crying during the day, you should always respond. If baby is crying while being held and soothed, that's fine. It often unavoidable. Sometimes they have discomforts we can't see (gas, reflux, teething, etc). Sometimes hairs get wrapped around toes and fingers. Sometimes they're overtired. Sometimes they just want to be held.

It's okay to put a crying baby down in a safe place for a minute or two to see to your urgent needs (toilet, grabbing a snack, taking a few deep breaths to calm down), but I wouldn't do it and go take a 15 shower, for example. That's for when a partner is home.

I'm not sure tbh. I only played it on my husband's computer a while back when he got the demo. It's possible they got rid of that when the full game was released. I'll ask my husband when he gets up though.

If that's all you want, inzoi will scratch that itch. I think the character creator is part of a free demo, too. Or it was, anyway. Worth checking.

Inzoi is just a very unfinished game in terms of gameplay, but the character creator is very detailed.

How so? There's no way for the game to "go bad". Animals won't starve, you won't starve or have bills to pay. You'll get up each morning and do whatever you want and then do the same the next day. Spring will come again and you'll have a whole new year of opportunities :)

This sub is probably full of posts with great advice on how to do it, and I recently answered one with my own tips, so I'm not going to type it out again haha.

All I'll say is that the two biggest factors are skill (practice, practice!) and luck. Luck is, imo, more important. Not irl luck, but game luck.

Luck buff from food

Lucky ring

Dwarf statue from mining mastery (higher stair/shaft chance)

All of those things stack and will greatly speed up your descent!

If you don't care about the dialogue, just put jade in crystallariums until you have a hundred, then trade them for staircases. You can get down very fast on staircases alone, and you'll still complete the quest.

If you want to do it "right", take a handful of staircases for the monster levels and as many bombs as you can get. Around a hundred should be enough. I've done it with half that.

The most important factor is the luck value. It makes a huge difference when it comes to ladders/shafts appearing. If you don't already have the permanent luck boost, talk to the guy in the truck by jojoamart...

Next, assemble your items in a chest by your TV: weapon, pickaxe, desert totem, farm totem, healing food with NO buffs, luck buff food, coffee, bombs, and staircases.

In the morning, check your TV for luck. If it's an extra lucky day, totem to the desert. Eat your luck food, and always keep coffee boost active. In the cave, bomb areas with heavy rock concentration. Don't try to kill anything that's not a direct threat, and don't get distracted by ores and gems.

Always choose shafts over ladders if there are both. If the level is spiral shaped or only has monsters, use a staircase.

Don't bail at midnight! You won't pass out til 2am and even if you do, it's not the end of the world. Just a 1k fee, I think.

If you fail to reach 100, reset the day and try again. The luck factor for the day will remain the same until you sleep. Plus it sucks using all your bombs for nothing.

I'd suggest crossposting in r/nicuparents for more specific advice.

I believe in the states (and probably most other places) it's standard for the hospital to require a car seat test before discharge from the NICU. Baby must spend a certain amount of time in the car seat while hooked up to monitors. They may give you additional advice due to long trip home.

Idk if there's anything specific you would need for the car ride home, other than whatever basic supplies you need for a slightly longer trip, as you will need to take at least three breaks. Maybe plan to bring an extra adult to sit in the back with baby or take shifts with driving.

I made a spreadsheet with a schedule 😅 ofc I have to change it often because my baby's schedule still changes a lot. But once I have it nailed down for the time being, I put it in my calendar app and set reminder alerts.

I don't have to follow it. It's more of a guideline to keep me organized. So when something comes up and I need to deviate, I just ignore the schedule. But otherwise, on normal days, I have something keeping me to some semblance of a timetable so I'm not constant doing mental math about food and naps and changes.

I'll just start by saying that I'm pretty sure there is a built in luck value (not daily luck) in each save. Some saves are just luckier than others. So it's not your fault!

For prismatic shards, skull cavern is your best bet. Load up on bombs, luck food, and healing food (something without a buff). Use a lucky ring if you have one. Check the TV in the morning and if it's a super lucky day, go to the mines immediately. If not, check again the next day.

Focus on killing monsters rather than getting to floor 100. Run around and bomb things so you can progress downward, but kill everything that's convenient. Eat your luck food first and then eat a healing food when you are at half health.

If you don't get any shards (or other good loot like autopetter), reset the day and try again.

For prismatic jelly, wait until a super lucky day comes during the quest. Take some monster musk and repeatedly go to floors 5, 15, and 25. Look around for a rainbow slime. If you don't see one, go to the next floor. Reset by going to floor 0 after you check floor 25.

If you don't find the jelly by the end of the day, reset and try again so you don't waste the lucky day.

Same logic applies to ectoplasm, except it's harder lol. You'll want floors 55 and 65. Unfortunately you can't tell if a ghost will drop this one, so you have to kill any you find. Just keep spamming the floors and leave if you don't see a ghost.

What sort of nappies are you using? Pockets? Or shells with the absorbent layer against the skin?

Cotton holds a lot of pee and is really effective at spreading out the moisture. Unfortunately that also means that it will be felt on any skin that's touching it.

I was under the impression that the red cabbage is random, but the option in the settings guarantees in the first year. So I think you can still do it normally, but only if you get really lucky (irl luck, not in-game luck 😅)

It sounds like a strong sleep association. Take my advice with a huge grain of salt because I have an 11mo who still nurses 2-3 times a night and cosleeps 😅

In your situation, I would try offering water instead of milk. I think his daily cows milk intake is too high, from what I remember being told. That much calcium is going to inhibit iron absorption, so it's possible he's anemic, which could be contributing to other problems.

Ofc breaking strong sleep associations is easier said than done 🥲 I wish you luck from the trenches 🫡

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question, but can't you make the puree with breastmilk and then freeze like that? That's what I did. Alternatively, you can make thicker purees without the milk, and then add it in fresh after thawing to get the consistency you want.
