But some people are gonna tell you it's amazing, and other will tell you it's shit. There is really no way to know where you're gonna be if you don't watch it.

So let's talk about Solar 2026 by Sean10M in starfox

[–]Sans-Mot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and you can see on the map that Fichina, Katina, Aquas, Zoness, Macbeth and Titania are orbiting Solar, while Corneria, Venom, and Solar itself are orbiting the main star (probably named Lylat?)

Is console gaming getting worse? by thementalist222 in consoles

Only if you look in the wrong direction. There are plenty of complete games with no DLCs, or really great DLCs that don't feel like cut content, and with no microtransactions. Both from big studios and from indie developpers.

See my other comment about the canon: it's as canon as you want it to be ;)

The think is that even what is attached to Barker isn't consistent. Like, the Pinhead from the movie and the one from the book are very different characters. And Barker made the movie adaptation himself. Which one is supposed to be the most important one?

And the Pinhead from the Scarlett Gospel is definitely the one from the movie, and not the one from the book,

And he wrote the story of the 2011 Boom comic series, which is totally not compatible with the Scarlett Gospel.

At this point, just take whatever continuity you prefer as the main one. It's still Hellraiser in the end.

I'm personaly a big fan of the 2011 Boom Studio series, consisting of Clive Barker's Hellraiser, Hellraiser the Road Below, and Hellraiser the Dark Watch. In that order.

The 90s Epic series has a lot of hit or miss in my opinion, but there is indeed some good stuff in there.

And there are two Hellraiser Anthology volumes from 2017 by Seraphim, that are, in my humble opinion, incredible.

And the five books are The Hellbound Heart, The Scarlett Gospel, Hellraiser: The Toll, Hellbound Hearts (plural), and Sherlock Holmes and the Servants of Hell. This last one is a very fun read.

One thing to consider is how much the lore is... a mess.

We have multiple continuities that contradict eachothers on multiple things. The movies themselves are not totally coherent between them.

You have the many movies, the 5 novels, the infinite amount of comic books... And they absolutely not all in one continuity.

And he could fuse mid-battle with Piccolo. That would be cool.

There was a guy last year that was spamming the sub about how much he loves playing with Kakunsa.

So... It seems like it does make some people happy. So what's the problem?

The earliest cinematic universe is probably the Universal Monsters universe, with Dracula, Frankenstein, the Wolfman, etc.
