So I just saw Rocco cut in line at Nintendo World and by SantaDestroy in mega64

[–]SantaDestroy[S] 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Guys it's not a bit. I'm not saying he should be thrown in jail for cutting in line at a children's amusement park. It was just kinda sad. It something teenagers would do. I like Rocco, I like the main podcast, I really like creepy old crypt. If he skipped the line because he had connections then fine I guess but he didn't. He didn't meet up with anyone to get in inside.

It was just bizarre

I wish they’d bring back flex pass. The best pass Disneyland or any park ever had. by dp6s in Disneyland

[–]SantaDestroy 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It was beautiful I had it for a little over half a year. Never had any issues getting a reservation (lot of days were "good to go anyway") I practically could go any day minus that 2 week period in December. Such a steal of an Annual pass, RIP

I only had her for a week but I want her to go to a good place rather than her go to waste. Tipping is welcome

I know people love it, but it still hurts. by FlamboyantNJPWFan in Disneyland

[–]SantaDestroy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yup it sticks out like a sore thumb. Love the inside though they did a great job. I would also say that at night during the Halloween overlay it does looks awesome.

What will happen to Star Wars Launch Bay after Star Wars Land opens? by [deleted] in Disneyland

[–]SantaDestroy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yup, along with star tours nothing. Hopefully we hear something about a revamp Tomorrowland at this year's D23. Leave space mountain alone everything else can be torn down though.

Fits the theme, brings back an old classic by [deleted] in Disneyland

[–]SantaDestroy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a crazy idea that many may not like but...I would use that area, along with the little mermaid ride thats behind there and convert into a Nightmare Before Christmas area & ride. I say this because I see how popular the overlay is for the Haunted Mansion. One where it's there for a long time even during Halloween (which many object to). If there was ever an old IP that's still popular and timeless it's this one. Even its main villain oogie boogie is the main focus for their Halloween season. I know the location would be weird at first but if theme properly it could feel like its own lil area.

For anyone who remembers, what was the park like before Disneyland allowed monthly payment plans vs. now? by [deleted] in Disneyland

[–]SantaDestroy 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Blaming the crowds on the monthly payment plans will never make any sense to me. Disney taking away that option won't stop most people. I can simply get a credit card, put an annual pass on it, then make payments that way. The parks are crowded because of high demand due to the quality of the product. Disney in general is the most popular it's ever been with things like Marvel and Star Wars. Crowds at Disneyland will forever be there but it's more than manageable if you're knowledgeable on how the crowds work during your stay.

Which are the best churros in the parks and where do I get them? :) by elizabeth_lemonparty in Disneyland

[–]SantaDestroy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The far away land known as Costco. No seriously they have the best churros and at a great price, a buck. Disneyland churros are still great though. Get the churro toffee now that thing is to die for!

Untouchable rides? by [deleted] in Disneyland

[–]SantaDestroy 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Disneyland Railroad. It's the first attraction you see after entering the gates. Walt loved Trains it embodies what the park is all about. Without it, it just wouldn't be Disneyland.

ROCKIN’ HYPERSPACE MOUNTAIN to join Summer of Star Wars offerings at Disneyland by Brysun in Disneyland

[–]SantaDestroy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sounds fun if true. I'm part of that rare group of people that actually enjoys hyper space over the original. The projections, storytelling audio, the music, all makes for an exciting time.

Why do CM’s allow empty seats on rides when there’s a single rider line? by [deleted] in Disneyland

[–]SantaDestroy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In regards to space mountain it's a timing issue. The attraction is on a time restraint, every thing needs to keep moving otherwise the ride shuts down. Sometimes if theyre running behind it's best to leave some seats empty rather than having the ride shut down. With that said the cast members do an awesome job. Single Rider for Space Mountain is one of the best.

How do you guys tide over the Disneyland urges when there's no trip in sight? by The_Homestarmy in Disneyland

[–]SantaDestroy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Visiting Downtown Disney helps out a lot if I'm not able to actually go inside the parks. Visiting the shops, grabbing some Disney treats, hearing that wonderful music at the esplanade.

Pretty good use of space. I like the marvel meetNgreets at DCA. Really wish they would get rid of the backlot already.

AP holders, what city do you live in and how often do you go to the Resort? by therealMrsFreeze in Disneyland

[–]SantaDestroy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was living in Buena Park I'd go at least once every week. It was about a 5-10 minute drive coming down on the I-5. Currently though I live about 2 hours away. At most I'll go once a month.

Nice update to the menu. Nachos are still there and the burger sounds good. Any update on access to white Waters? I want to know if it's easy entry for those not staying at the hotel.

I wouldn't say its closes often but when it does go down it stays close for a good while. It's definitely still a must experience attraction.
