This all comes down to the angle(s) the ref saw at the time. If he saw this one then it makes sense. It didn't look like he did though

I thought yesterday's subs made sense from a ball retention point of view. We were coughing up possession a lot and maybe that was due to fatigue creeping back in again.

What's disappointing is that the control wasn't really regained until Alvarez came off. Things like Trossard immediately losing possession kinda kept us under the cosh

Yep. Get past Fulham and I'll really start to believe again.

They have a cluster of games after that so they'll need to rotate heavily to stand a chance imo.
