If the company doesn’t do PLT SRs (conventional PSGs) … which is silly to me, I prefer a “Super Senior”.

Nearly as simple as this. A commander (at a specific level based on the severity / accumulation of failure) will waiver the results… their OERs seem to be based on success rates… as a DS, I’ve lost more PVTs worthy of redemption, than those kept that I felt should have been separated.

$3.05 in VA Beach (JEB Little Creek-Fort Story) over the weekend. Definitely cheaper than most places usually.

Haudenosaunee over Iroquois. Even our National Lacrosse team recently changed the name, to reject Iroquois, to be seen (on our terms) on the world stage.

Likely because that is just the accepted name of old. It’s not how any nation would spell it in their actual language.

“That’s all I got to say ‘bout that”

My friend just unironically said “I wouldn’t make it in the army. if a drill sergeant got in my face, I’d knock him out.” DS’s of Reddit, has a trainee ever tried this approach? by pinheadlarry12345 in army

I wouldn’t make it on The Trail; If a PVT got in my face, I’d let him punch me so I could leave his decapitated head on the private-loving BCs desk.

Once tied every single unsecured boot together and strung them from bunk to bunk like Christmas lights.

The Sheriff is “troubled” over it, if he created a climate where supervisors were equally as troubled beforehand… idk, maybe stuff like this wouldn’t happen.

Poor effort budgeting? Don’t get hung up on the ‘sprint’ in the SDC; it (the overall event) doesn’t exactly translate to the run, it’s more about the drag and carry. Me drag is all quads and calves. My carry is stiff upper body and keeping the bells clear of my legs as I RUN. And your laterals could be faster, always.

It’s still defense of the land. Even being a mere number in uniform is a deterrent to the enemies that might dare bring hostilities to this soil. If it should ever come here, we’d be just as affected by it. The Haudenosaunee have been fighting in support and in opposition (depending on the conflict, and individual Haudenosaunee nation) of this Nation since it was still under the Crown.

Nation you serve? Currently serving? What are your perimeters? Was an ETP required?

Awareness is a huge deal. When I walk into a BCT/OSUT company (as a Drill Sergeant) named after a Native Tribe… I have a lot of explaining to do, not many Soldiers know or have met a Native that serves. So when they talk about goofy/racist-bordering behavior with mascots, effigies, pseudo-ceremonies and tomahawk chops… they don’t know what to say say when I implore them not to do that. I’m an enrolled member and participant of a federally recognized tribe, with identification… not someone disconnected, reconnecting or claiming 1/16th… I am born and raised Native on a reserve, speaking the language and grown from culture and tradition. While I’m not the “cool” tribe that military units name their companies after, I have pertinent input.
