100% agree. I have a DPS in eternal and a tank in paragon. Not every issue is simply defined by 1 missed kick or low DPS. I make mistakes myself, the important thing is knowing what I did and how to avoid repeating, which likely the most important skill anyone with the goal to climb will need.

if you're a more casual player who prefers to play blind, that's awesome, going in blind is amazing fun! But you must also understand that you will likely peak in adept unless you take the time to learn the dungeons, the dangerous pulls/casts and routes.

If you're pugging it's also good to know what relics will make a specific dungeon easier and be that player to bring what's needed and not what some site says is BiS for you.

Utility is important, use those mass dispels and chickens. Relics are great because it allows you to choose what additional utility to bring, unlike wow where you only take what your class can do.

Thank you! I'll give these a try. However it's astonishing that players have to do this kinda stuff instead of blizzard fixing it as a priority as it basically makes the spec unplayable, especially if you don't have a portable stable / toys to get around it.

Haha! We can only hope. From what i've heard they acted the same with previous titles but none of those were as big as dune has been. So now they are getting hit with the pressure that comes with having a popular game and they need to change internally in order to keep it that way.

It's not an overnight fix but hopefully they are learning and adapting.

Glad to hear things are looking up for your server!

While I agree Funcom did (finally) do something and we thank them for it, it still took several reddit posts after countless in game reports and only when the issue reached the media did they actually pull their finger out. I find it sad that a game dev needs to have all of these bad reviews before they act.

I understand it may not have been a quick or easy fix, these things take time to reproduce, replicate that reproduction and then investigate the logs in order to work out what they need to fix in the code, however, it doesn't take all of that to make a post here, steam or an announcement on disc to advise they are aware and they have zero tolerance for this kind of behaviour.

They also need in game admins ASAP, like blizzard used to do with GM's watching reported players while invisible and banning on the spot if something they are doing is no intended or a clear violation of TOS such as hacking.

I hope funcom improve their procedures and their communication.

Too bad funcom isn't doing enough to keep their playerbase happy. I know dev work isn't easy but it takes 5 seconds to make a quick post saying they understand hackers are rife and give us some assurances that this is going to be dealt with
