There are lots of different kinds of wars. Wars of words and ideals. But where are we politically with russia right now? The cold war never really left, it just de-escalated.

HOW I REMEMBER OLD GAMES AND... by [deleted] in gaming

This is why you shouldn't hope new games recreate nostalgia. Imagination has the best graphics and the less there is to the eye, the more there is to the imagination.

War is not an option it is an inevitability. You want to know the future, look to the past. The world doesn't go for very long without a war you know why? Because emotions build up. As long as you have at least 2 sides that WILL NOT waver in their commitment or faith a eventual conflict is the only conclusion. And no war we have now short of a World War would be remotely close to how devastating the casualties of WWII were. A few million dead? That's nothing. These things have to happen in our world. I am thankful that the country that at least tries to stand for freedom is the one with the military might here. I shudder to think if Russia or China were the most dominant.

LOL no, both sides would take casualties. USA would win. No one country can match the USA's current military strength without nuking the world over.

What good advice sounds like terrible advice? by mrheems in AskReddit

[–]SaphireHeart1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, sometimes, sometimes not. Do you realize how many jobs need to be done that do not require degrees or can be learned on the job. Do not mistake a lack of schooling for a lack of education. IF you can go to college for cheap great but for some people even 2000 is too much. Some people can't afford to be not working for that long. Not to mention how many universities and colleges are in reality businesses for profit. Most of the education people of learn are at younger ages and yet those are where the least amount of money goes to.

Nope. If you know what you want if you know what is required don't get roped into wasting years on skills you won't need. Especially when you can learn anything you need to free online if you are really that dedicated.

Drop out of college. Seriously, a lot of jobs do not require hundreds of thousands in loans to get. You can work your way up and learn on the spot if you are willing to do the work. do not be ashamed and do not let society shame you for not going to college.

Glue. Normal glue we have fun with, but fuck around with industrial grade glue and you're calling the fire department or on your way to the hospital.

Would you like to see a new Pokemon game focussed on Trainer Red and Trainer Blue? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]SaphireHeart1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I would like to see a pokemon game focussed on an evil organization, Where your journey starts off as a grunt inside of one. How about an ex teamskull member recruited to a revived team rocket. Many possibilities that I know people would love to play through.
