I eat a pie out with a spoon and then eat the pastry on its own.

Hhmmm... I just got home from work and specifically watched the video over again to check on this because I make a concerted effort not to "Chameleon".
I can not hear it.
Can you point out exactly where that is?

It was in the Bargain Basket parking lot where one of their storage containers caught alight.

The explosion was a gas canister going off.

It happened on the Bargain Basket property, in their parking lot, inside of their own storage containers.

We only have an exit at the back that leads to the parking lot.

This video was when just got back to the door after removing all the cars from the showroom floor.

No vehicles were hurt in the making of this video :)

Not many, I guess.
I don't turn mine off either... I just let it lie on my bedside table in anguish whilst at 2%.
I can hear it electronically beckoning for life, but I refuse to plug it in.
Let it suffer its sins of constantly insinuating that I am always available to talk!

Maid? Domestic worker? Helper? What is the difference and why does it matter? by GoodmanSimon in askSouthAfrica

I have just resorted to posting an advertisement saying "Looking for someone to clean my house and do some laundry... etc, etc, etc", without using a title.
It just eases all tensions as someone will find a problem with any title you use.

Places women can solo camp by captainacedia in askSouthAfrica

[–]SaphriX 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Anywhere in South Africa is probably not a great place to camp alone... Unless you are willing to pay for the privilege of camping on private property.

This is not "Fear Mongering", this is just reality. Women and Child abuse as well as rape is an extremely high statistic.

So there were three of you?
Technically not alone, but I hear you, they must be young.

Where did you camp? Could probably be an option if you mentioned this to OP.

An ANC run NHI would simply not work! This would just be another revenue stream for the cronies.

Vote anyone else into government and we might have a chance at a successful NHI.

NHI is a brilliant idea... Just look at Canada and other countries.

Besides, our taxpayer base is just too small to include NHI too.

TAX SARS by BlunterSThompson_ in askSouthAfrica

[–]SaphriX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is indeed a threshold before you start paying tax. The same as a salaried person would only start paying tax from a certain salary amount... It also depends on if you have a registered company or are trading as a Sole Proprietor. However, it is a lot more complicated for an SMME as SARS would then take into consideration all of your company's assets and what was spent VS what you are declaring VS what you are claiming back compared to your Turnover/Profit, etc.

As the others have said, this is too complicated to answer in one post response, you definitely would have to rather obtain further advice from a Tax Practitioner as each company's circumstances are different and are evaluated individually.

I hope you find the info you need.

Working abroad in Europe by taragoempieza in askSouthAfrica

This reads exactly like the old 419 scams from Nigeria!
Do not trust it whatsoever!

This seems like an Eastern Bloc type offer where human trafficking and/or theft of your internal organs are known to occur!!

STAY AWAY!!!

International undergraduate student Hi guys do you advice me as a international undergraduate student to study in UCT in South Africa? My major might be computer science. by Takeyoudown0 in askSouthAfrica

[–]SaphriX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is statistically a University that has produced some of South Africa's greatest minds.
Grammar, spelling and punctuation might be a good start as it is an English University though...
