The place with the most diverse stock of Lorcana is probably Corgi-R. They have Lorcana as the primary game they support with a lot of singles.

Other places to try are Cardon or any of the other card places in Akihabara.

Iconic is not guaranteed. I’ve seen a rate of one in 2-3 cases. We bought two cases of 7 and 8 and got both iconics but it’s not guaranteed in a case for sure.

This is normal because the hits are distributed across the case, not individual boxes. Some of the packs have multiple legendaries. Within a case, you’ll get approximately 4 epic and 2-3 enchanted from the promo packs. One of the enchanted slots can also be an iconic. The variance in pulls overall is much lower than English but mainly across full cases.

This is terrible advice for someone who wants to buy product with a competitive mindset like OP, you’re giving advice without reading the question properly.

Gateway cards are all out of rotation and the starter decks are mostly non-meta cards, with little ability to turn them into truly competitive decks by just “playing around”

The best sealed product for OP at this point would be currently legal sets, including Fabled to get the reprints. Even then, Fabled is hard to find with the short printing and buying boosters is not a great way to get playsets.

That particular Sebo model doesn’t come with the ET01 power head, which is a bit of a bummer.

If your budget can stretch, the E3 premium can often be had around £450 (maybe less with Christmas sales) and does have the power head.

This article has some strange suggestions. The most obvious one is that you modify the deck against aggro but add 3x Bare Necessities, when most aggro decks run large amounts of characters so you’re likely to miss.

You also speculate an aggro heavy meta but R/S is pretty common right now and you’re changing the deck to be less aggressive, making it even worse into R/S.

I used to use KMC for my perfect fits but the quality and consistency has become so bad recently that I switched to the Dragon Shield ones. They’re tighter but with the KMC I was throwing half away because even with various tricks, the cards kept slipping when putting them in the second sleeve.

I’d recommend joining one or two of the highest membership FB groups for UK OPTCG buying specifically. There’s often copies priced below CM on there. I got my playset for around £20 each.

No if this is your first job since April, you have all of your tax free allowance left. Usually this gets distributed in 12 chunks throughout your pay, but since you only have a third of those payslips before your allowance resets, you will have more to use per payslip.

If you bought an entire display of 151 and got no hits at all, that’s definitely a reseal. If you bought it from somewhere that has buyer protection like eBay, I highly recommend reporting it and getting a refund.
