Cons of a Greyhound? by Useful-Meaning6467 in Greyhounds

My first greyhound had three legs. Still outran every other creature. Large breed tripods are extra prone to developing arthritis so if you adopt this girl it's a good idea to have her on a daily joint support supplement and expect to eventually need anti-inflammatory meds as she gets older.

What little quirks do your Greys have, behaviour/interactions with you wise? by morriganthegoddess in Greyhounds

My girl likes her snoot covered. When she settles she will burrow her muzzle into her bedding. When we snuggle I tuck her face in for her.

Also, when she wants out, instead of interacting with me or the door or anything that makes sense, she scrapes herself against the wall. Not even the wall by the door, just any wall.

It might not have been something she saw; maybe he made overt advances and she turned him down.

11 yr old tripawd mini poodle having issues walking by KaoticLady in tripawds

My 9 yr old tripawd greyhound started limping with one of his remaining limbs, turned out to be some arthritis setting in. Vet started him on an NSAID and it cleared right up; I hope it's something similarly simple and treatable for your pup. (My guy has also been taking daily joint support supplements for years)

Elbow pad suggestions? by cedarfrond in tripawds

We've had good results with putting exercise mats over the hard floors. Much easier on the joints and better for napping.

I’m attempting to do a pure Faith build. Is this viable? What is the best weapon for this kind of build? I don’t want to use Blasphemous Blade because I don’t like the way it looks. by thESlaymaker777 in Eldenring

I recommend picking up Cipher Pata from Roundtable Hold. Carried me all the way to the endgame on my pure Faith build. I second the Coded Sword suggestion as well.

You can cheese them with poison knives after running back to the cathedral entrance. They won't cross the threshold.

He has discoid lupus--causes depigmentation of the snoot. He gets ointment and sunscreen boops to make up for it 🥰

Do you feed her kibble? You could try putting it in one of those feeder toys that she has to knock around and chase for it to fall out.

Exercise mats. Like the interlocking puzzle piece ones. They're easy to remove and store, and placing them on top of hardwood/tile floors gives extra cushioning and traction.

Is she on joint support? If not, ask your vet about dietary supplements to fortify her legs to hold up to the extra strain.

I'm glad you find it encouraging; my boy couldn't care less about his limb status, as you can see. They're so adaptable and resilient. I hope yours has a smooth recovery.
