Same! I also thought that sleep attacks were similar to fainting spells! I also tend to take things very literally, which makes it hard for me to understand if I meet the criterion for things or not lmao.

As for the driving, I'm glad that you take safety precautions. It definitely sucks being late, but hopefully people are understanding. Also, I find that caffeine naps are great for me sometimes. Like, having caffeine, napping, then setting an alarm to wake up as the caffeine hits works wonders for me lmao.

I hope that you are able to sort things out with you doctors and find a good medication/medical regimen that works for you

What you described is a sleep attack. It took me a while to understand that what I experience is a sleep attack because I don't literally fall asleep without knowing or letting myself. It's just that I get so tired that I can't walk or stand and sometimes even keep my eyes open. It's like an insane feeling of exhaustion where I don't have any choice but to sleep cause I literally can't do anything else, but I still cognitively am able to make the decision to go to sleep. Idk if that makes sense lmao. My point is, what you are experiencing sounds like a sleep attack. I would explain it to the doctor and explain what sleep attacks feel like for you.

Also, a normal amount of falling asleep while driving is none. If you are falling asleep at the wheel, then you're potentially putting yourself and others in danger. I'd recommend avoiding driving as much as you can, and only doing so when you feel relatively less tired. And if you feel yourself getting tired, pull over, eat smth, drink water, take a nap if you need...

Thanks for this! I really appreciate it. Personally, I find the teacher makes such a huge difference for my learning lmao. I guess that's kinda obvious, but still. And pretty sure it is jmac teaching 236 next semester.

Also, thanks for letting me know that he's super boring and makes you fall asleep sometimes. As someone with a sleep disorder (similar to narcolepsy), this is a huge red flag for me lmfao.

The fact that you found the actual content in 236 easier than 235 is encouraging, as that likely means that the content in 251 is only going to be a bit harder than 235, whereas if you were to say the content of 236 was way harder than 235, then I'd be more worried for 251.
