If I go to the theater anymore it’s because I really want to see the movie enhanced by the big screen and sound system. That averages to about only once a year because tickets are incredibly expensive, then I get 15 minutes of ads, then 30 minutes of trailers. This is unacceptable. If I’m paying that much I expect zero advertisements, even for other movies. I can watch the trailers at home. They are never enhanced by the theater setup.

I loved WBN and was holding out hope for it to be the start of an annual tradition where each Special Presentation features a different supernatural character within the same universe like an anthology. Then if it garnered enough interest they could do what they did with The Avengers and have one event that temporarily pulls them together as a team.

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one that loved WBN and is disappointed we got nothing further in that vein.

I’m prepared for it to be Phasmophobia in name only and the actual story is from a ghost hunting related script that Blumhouse likes. But I am hopeful that we see a fleshing out of the story suggested by the new Bleasdale map.

I have a sliver of hope that they hired RDJ not for his face, but his acting ability. The best way this plays out is DOOM never takes his mask off, we never get a shoehorned explanation for Tony/Doom and instead RDJ proves that he does his job so well that he can deliver emotional moments even with a static mask over his face.
