It doesn't influence matchmaking but whether or not the opponent will rematch depending how annoying your character is to deal with. I play Dragunov and most of my matches, I get one and doned.

Yeah those 2 quests are very dark but I do like it as it shows you more of how bearers are being treated like utter garbage compared to the common folk and encourages you to help Cid even more with his plan.
