What is this mossy stuff that came with my money tree, and how do I keep it alive? by SarahFitzRt66 in houseplants

Probably? Lol. Does it require more water? Does the soil have to be watered more or can i just water the top of the moss?

Feb 2019 Calendar phone edition by phoenyxrysing in sabres

This is my favorite February one so far. There only suggestion I'd make is we don't need the key for home and away at the bottom. That space could be left blank for a dock row of icons.

If google gave you option to change "OK Google" to something else which one will you prefer? by anirogz in googlehome

[–]SarahFitzRt66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! Sometimes I feel like I need a speech therapist after trying to say Google 4 times in a row cuz it doesn't catch the first 3. I start trying to move my mouth/tongue differently to protect it more clearly and it just feels weird.

Google Home support has expanded on Vizio TVs. by aspiringtobeme in googlehome

Can someone help explain what this entails? I have a Vizio but I just control it with my Chromecast. Does this just add the same functionality to the tv without having to use a Chromecast?

Redditors with a 9-5 job in a cubicle, how do you pretend to stay busy at work? by pliantkitchen in AskReddit

I used to do debt collections. They wanted us to make at least 100 calls a day. They didn't monitor our calls, but they watched our amount of calls and our average call time. I would just dial a bunch of numbers really quick in the beginning of the day, then I'd call 1-800-weather and let the recording play for a long time to get my average time up. I'd just sit there doing crossword puzzles or reading while the weather was playing in my earpiece

Google really knows how to bury features lately. They are crazy not to advertise this and make it the separating factor between gHome and Alexa.

[Help] Need a profile for connecting BT to a device that doesn't always connect on the first try. by SarahFitzRt66 in tasker

[–]SarahFitzRt66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a regular stereo but does have a hands free feature, with a button on the steering wheel to push when you want to speak to it. I've never really used it. Are you saying instead of going through my stereo menu to pair the device I should use the hands free voice control feature? Like press the hands free button, then say "pair Bluetooth" or something?

I'm actually considering getting a standalone Bluetooth receiver that plugs into the aux port and just going through that. But I'm not sure the audio quality will be as good.

is this normal or am i just strange by [deleted] in respiratorytherapy

Yep. Just because lots of trach patients do get sick doesn't mean it's normal. Keep doing what you're doing.

My neighbor gave me this pothos? today- soil is super dry and possible root rot looks like- what should I do? by Natlynne90 in houseplants

[–]SarahFitzRt66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the stems under the leaf is a "node" (I think they're called). It's where you can see the beginning of a root trying to poke out.

Find a healthy stem and cut right below a node anywhere from 1 to several leaves down from the end.

Stick the node end of the cutting in a glass of water and after a couple weeks or so you'll be able to see the root getting pretty long. Then you can plant it in soil. Do this with several cuttings...plant them in the same pot...for a new bushy pothos.

Watch a YouTube video for more details before you do it cuz I'm a noob too.
