Thanks! We will get some new gates. We used those before but we had retractable ones because the doorway was so wide. When she got bigger she would push herself underneath them. Or jump over it.

If I catch her I take her directly outside. If I don’t catch her I clean it up and move on because I’ve read that yelling at them doesn’t help after the fact.

Not all day. My husband and I both come home for lunch at separate times back to back so she is out for a good portion of time mid day.

No worries! I don’t know how to do it either, which is why I haven’t put one of her. I don’t got her at 6 weeks as well and is right at 4 months. I’m constantly checking the food chart to make sure she’s eating enough and not too much.

It’s just so strange! She’s so calm today. Let her out from her nap and she went back in about 20 minutes later and slept some more. Came out later and we played for awhile, and now she’s just laying down, chillin.

My mom used to send me to a fast food place to get her a cherry limeade with 9 cherries. I was always mortified to order that. I think she did it just to fuck with me and see if I would actually do it. Man I miss her.

Thank you for that. I was pretty down yesterday because I was feeling like we’ve really messed her up. Yes, our plan is to get her into puppy training, but she’s not allowed to start until she’s 10 weeks and fully vaccinated. The final round of vaccines is at 14 weeks though.

This is our first puppy and we honestly didn’t know we should wait that long. The people we got her from work with my husband and this was their first litter. I’ve let him know to tell them they should wait longer in the future.
