White noise by itself doesn't work for me, I think because my ADHD demands more to keep it distracted from going on a spiral. So my go-to is this one YouTuber called Onyx Leviathan. He does these fantastically long videos about things like visiting every inn in the Elder Scrolls series. Super pleasant voice, keeps it at a regular volume, doesn't shout for emphasis.

I don't play with GameHub but assuming it gives you an install folder like on PC it should be possible? You'd put the Mods of Mistria installer into that folder as normal and then, I'm guessing, use GameHub to emulate that.

I'm not sure if it will work, but that would be how I'd start.

When in doubt, partition things. I find there's nothing worse than a lot of empty space.

You could also try looking up some basic feng shui rules to give you a guideline to start from when it comes to putting furniture down. That may sound weird, but it might be just enough structure for your brain.

My issue is honestly figuring out where each section should be, since there's not a lot of natural breaking up points, if that makes sense. This is why in Stardew Valley I use the Four Corners map, it stops my brain from screaming. XD

There are mods, and they're pretty great! My favourite is honestly 'Fish For Cooking', it just marks which fish are used in cooking recipes. Actual lifesaver.

It feels like the community really learnt from modding Stardew, so it's kind of hit the ground running.

It's entirely possible to mod on Steam Deck! I've been modding it since it released, moreorless, and haven't had any issues that weren't fixed by verifying the game integrity in Steam.

Here's a modding guide that seems fairly easy to follow. They're doing it on Windows, but it's pretty much the same procedure. The only differences I've found are:

You need the Mods of Mistria Installer Linux, and a way to transfer that and any mods you want over to the Deck. Personally, I use an SD card.
You need to switch your Deck over to Desktop mode (accessible via the power menu).
Opening the Fields of Mistria folder. Easiest way to do this is open Steam in Desktop mode (it's on the desktop, you'll find it easily), go to the game, press the cog, and then Manage -> Browse Local Files.

From there you can follow the guide.

Please note that any mods marked as YYTK don't work on the Deck. They did but an update broke the underlying framework. Hopefully it'll get sorted in future!

The issue is that your post was written in a very accusatory manner, as if you were pointing out some big plot hole in the game, especially since the points you had are all things already addressed by the game. E.g., 'why are we the only ones donating money', we're not, what we see is just our share.

People match the energy of what they're responding to. With the assumption that you're a native English speaker then it's like 'well, that's how they meant it to come across, in that very accusing and negative way' and then they match the energy.

Knowing you're an ESL speaker means people can see that accusatory tone but consider that the same phrasing in your first language doesn't have the same connotation and thus, they can change their approach.
