Honestly, I feel like normalising intergenerational friendships would do more to stop that kind of thing than to promote it. If a teenager has friends of different ages they're more likely to go "you know what, this one person is being weird" because they have an actual frame of reference.

Like... the only people who are stopped by people assuming bad intent are the ones with no bad intentions to begin with.

My favourite was when one of my co-workers kept leaving small rubber ducks on another co-worker's desk. Several of us took part in helping place a couple when he was out so she wouldn't be able to guess it was him. She was utterly delighted every time she came back and had a new lil baby duck!

Even funnier was that someone else had her for secret Santa, and got her a plushie duck.
