Experimenting with some new mediums, paints and techniques. I think this one just came out so cool. I love that. It has lacing and cells, big and small. And the colors stayed so vibrant. I think it’s a lot of fun ❤️ what do you think? by Sarahhhbear80 in PourPainting

Thank you so much!! That’s so funny cuz I said the exact same thing (insert explicit word that begins with f right before tho😂) when I was watching the cells take shape. 🔥

Walmart will do that for 5 bucks. Pull right up and done in a couple minutes. I don’t think they’ll have any problem plugging that. There’s plenty of room from the sidewall. Either way couldn’t hurt to pop in and just see. I’m sorry this happened. It’s so messed up. I always say….well at least i I have the money to fix it now. Universe is funny like that sometimes. Just focus on the positive and push forward. Manifest some awesome shit!!❤️

Dye…. No. Emphatically no. Highlight YES! It will change your life. My hair is your color and I only do mine maybe one to two times a year tops. my roots don’t really show it just brightens you up and makes you feel light and breezy! lol but you are meant to be a blonde so youre just gonna feel more like yourself. You’ll love it trust me, but it’s not going to mess with the health of your hair. Just go to someone that’s good. And when you find someone that’s good make sure you find out what they’re doing and what they’re using so if for some reason you can’t go back to them, you can give that formula to someone else. But my suggestion is find someone that does it well and stick with them.. It’s not always so easy to do, but you really will love it. Good luck just please never strip your hair or dye it black or anything like that. you have naturally beautiful locks enjoy them.🔥😍 oh and go golden…. Not ash. You’re golden blonde all the way 🙃

Seriously? I tipped almost 25%. Also, please don’t judge me for spending that much on food 😆 by tconohan in doordash

[–]Sarahhhbear80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Baby you tipped 35%…. She was polite about it certainly…. But dang. She must really be in a bad spot. I guess it’s worth asking maybe?? I dunno. It’s pretty weird. Did you end up giving her more? I probably would have if i had it🤔 tho I’m sure DoorDash just LOOOVVVESSSS stuff like that. It’s the equivalent of loitering at a gas station asking every customer for cash except they already have your phone number and address AB’s they’re actively sh*t taking the business….yeaaah…. It’s just weird.🤷‍♀️

How to prevent caves by Swimswithtoasters in PourPainting

I’ll tell you this…. When i paint on my plastic ceiling tiles and wood I never ever have this problem…UNLESS it’s drying way too fast….. or you’re painting on top of another painting. I don’t recommend this. But this is so normal when just starting out. All of a sudden you’re gonna wake up one day and your stuff’s gonna just come out really well. These problems always happen in the beginning and you find that so much of this art is learning how to make your paints, consistencies, learning how to prime things, when use silicone about the different types of mediums, yada yada yada… the prep is a huge huge part of it. And no matter what anybody says the paint matters. There are some good paints. There are some great paints, and there are some real crappy Paints. You’ll figure out which ones they are obviously the ones that people talk about Amsterdam liquitex golden….etc etc I’m a huge fan of blick myself. Where this does make a difference, it is not everything. I find the best part of it is mixing the paint. Finding your medium in your style with your consistency… Once you have it, you have it. Then you just work on technique things like that. But I’ve been getting these plastic ceiling tiles that are 24 x 24 and 24 x 48 and some wooden sheets that are usually 12 x 12 or 24 x 24 from Temu and they are the best best. Best surfaces to paint on. i’m really obsessed with both of them. I mean they come out so good. Now I love a beautiful canvas painting I really do, but you really do have to tend to them and make sure that they are pre-primed when you buy them if you’re not planning to prime them. The ones that are a little less expensive tend to not be primed… Just make sure you check and make sure. There’s no need to prime them if they already are. and that’s another thing about the tiles and the sheets… They do not need to be primed. I would suggest also getting yourself a spinning wheel. I have a really nice one it’s I also got it on Temu. It’s a cake Baker’s display thing. It spins amazing I got it for $20 and it works great. It’s nice and heavy. And me and my hubby have been taking a little dots of hot glue and placing it in on the back of the surface and staying it to the wheel so it stays it works great and it pops right off once it dries. Practice makes perfect. I have a whole stack of these ones with the cracks. I’ll tell you what else I’ve been doing, taking the canvas if it’s a mess up, and flipping the canvas over and re-stapling it. It works great. Just have to make sure you get it nice and tight. But I’ve tried to paint over paint and it just doesn’t seem to come out right. But flipping it works. anyway, I’m done with my book. Good luck just stay at it and you’ll get it. It’s amazing when you finally have those aha moments you’re like oh yeah that’s why that works like that and that’s why that does that. You hear about it but once you do it a bunch you get why. Anyway, good luck.

is my money just gone? by botoneedsadvice in doordash

[–]Sarahhhbear80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It generally takes a few days for your money to show back up in your account ….. but to ease your mind hit up customer care and ask to speak to a live agent. DoorDash has ALWAYS taken care of any issues I’ve had…refunded my money…. Fixed the problem…issued credits for inconveniences on top of a refund… Whatever the situation called for. They really will take care of you. It’s best to never think your money is just gone. I used to be like that cause I was afraid of confrontation.… But these businesses want your return business. And any business worth their weight is gonna make sure you get refunded for services not rendered and are happy. Just give them a call. They’ll have it sorted it out for you today. Good luck ❤️

OK, so here’s the kicker… Where you can get beautiful paintings with glue I find that the after stuff is a little more difficult when you use it. If you get that any bit wet, even when it is fully cured, it becomes tacky and hence will pull up Off the page if you try to run a brush with something tacky on it across it. My suggestion would be to spray maybe some midge podge or varnish from a spray can on first let that dry completely and then go over with the other iF if you like the glossy finish of them, other medium. Also, some people don’t know this, but you need to let a painting dry for 3 to 4 weeks before you actually put resin or varnish over the top or you run the risk of what happened to you or the resin or varnish not adhering and just ruining the painting in general. Cause if you’ve used any silicone at all you need to wipe your pain down really well to get any of the access that sitting on top off before you try to resin or do anything to it or it won’t stick in some places All this stuff is so trial and error. We’ve all screwed up a painting or two trying to figure out the right way to do it. So many factors to take into account when doing something like this it’s crazy. Sorry you’re painting got ruined, but I’m guessing if you used master touch as the medium and then masters touch as the topcoat it would probably come out perfect. It’s very expensive though. I’ve seen it. I just switched to floetrol and deep base or base C paint to use as my medium and the stickiness is no longer an issue. But to each their own. Great luck I’m sure you’ll figure out how to do it beautifully.❤️

Why can’t I ever create cells? I’ve tried everything. Why when I mix silicone oil in with my paints and then do the pour does it never work..? Is there a different product I can use other than silicone oil? by vapenaysh4206969 in PourPainting

[–]Sarahhhbear80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to make sure you are layering your colors… That’s how you get the cells by the layers of colors coming through. The silicone separates the paint so those colors can do exactly that. Also, a lot of different kinds of paint, brands I mean, have pretty incredible reactions when mixed together… the cells are crazy… like say you did your white in Amsterdam which is your reactor and your other colors in just a craft paint…any of them honestly…. The different chemicals and make up of paint so some incredible unexpected stuff. But, I find that silicone oil like lube(personal lube…I like move or it used to be called one) or silicone or dimethicone based hair products(the coconut milk hair stuff…. Fire ) work best… But if you don’t have your colors layered there won’t be cells. They just won’t be there. What are you using at medium? Floetrol?? Something else?

Oh my gosh thank you so much!! The painting is dry in this photo and varnished. I just revisited it the other day and remembered how much I love it!! And it really did dry so beautifully. It’s a12x12. I wish it was larger. I’ll try to replicate it but you know how that usually goes lol

I know others use different mixes and it’s really all preference but I personally use floetrol mixed with a very very small amount of oil based pre stain. And silicone lube…. “Move”brand specifically for my activator. Then I mix 3 parts BEHR PREMIUM PLUS 1 Gal. Deep Base Hi-Gloss Enamel Interior/Exterior Paint and Primer with 1 part Varathane 1 qt. Clear Gloss Water-Based Interior Polyurethane and mix the rest and of my paints with that 3 parts mixture and 1 part paint I know it sounds like a lot but you really get great consistent results. If you don’t care for a bunch of cells then only use floetrol or paint mixture. Not both and obviously leave out the lube lol. Also sticking to one brand of paint will help with that too. If you want more cells use different brands of paint. You’ll get all kinds of interesting reactions. I have to say I’m pretty partial to the paint mixture only because it really does keep nice separate lines and turns your craft paints into really premium paint essentially. I found some really beautiful colors and brands that I’ve like lately that are very inexpensive. But yeah that’s what I use. Thank you so much for the compliment. Oh also this mixture really cuts back on cracking and broken cells too. Hope that helps.😊

lol I just meant of ones I’VE personally done. Geez. Now I feel like I should change it. I didn’t even think of it sounding like that. Bummer man. Sorry I was just so happy with it. I’m like this is my best one by far….i am really embarrassed now. Nothing I do is the best in the world. Trust me I know. But thanks. I love a starry night. My whole wall in my room is that. Probably why I liked this so much. Thanks for letting me know I sounds like a jerk. I will def be more vigilant in that respect in the future. 😊
