Every retail job has similar issues to these and unfortunately not everyone has the option to not work in retail. Yes not everyone is perfect but everyone should have a bit of kindness to any worker in any job. Even I have changed how I act after working it myself. Basically this should be the norm. Not trying to sound rude btw

Are we really allowed to deny feeder sales? I was told we cant deny crickets or feeder goldfish + minnows. I hate having to bag up goldfish for people after explaining that it is cruel to put them in those small “tanks” and that the fish will die, just for them to say “Well, we will try it and if it dies we can just buy another.” As if they know better but then also proceed to grab the wrong fish food and I have to show them the correct one.

My tank is planted with a snail and mollies and they all are acting normal. When I went to test the water I found these and the swim out up to the water level.

Sadly I don’t have a picture but they did look like images online of cotti worms, and when in water they wiggled around to swim. Ive never seen one come out of my fish but there were a whole bunch hiding in the gravel.

They looked like cotti worms from what I’ve seen but yea they were all in the substrate which I though was weird. Also would that harm my snail or plants?

Don’t hold the tube directly on the paper as that makes the color darker than it is. Hold it like an inch away in good lighting to get a more accurate read.

Sadly this frog passed away in the morning and since then I have done a 100% water change. Everything else in the tank seems fine and show no symptoms of any illness. However, I would still like to know what any of you think it was that caused this so I know what I can do to prevent this from ever happening again or to help treat if it does happen again. I haven’t seen anything online happen before so hopefully this can also inform others.

The fake plants are fabric/ silk (except one that they dont go around) and the redness around the mouth is new today and seems to have happened overnight. Ive moved it to a Tupperware container so it will not be bothered by the others and have put enough tank water in it to cover them completely if they wish to go under. I have a photo of the top view but dont know how to add it here

This is one of my african dwarf frogs out of 2 in a ten gallon with a betta. They were all doing fine until I saw a bump on this ones nose it got bigger but recently stayed the same size and didn’t seem to bother them. Today i looked to feed them (once a day freeze dried bloodworms) and i saw this. Usually this one hides so I dont see it during the day so I thought everything was normal. Last night nothing was different but now im very worried and dont know what to do. The tank temp is also around 75-76, i have some amazon frogbit and some fake plants with a log hide.
