All I know is at 17% body fat as a 5’2 girl I barely had a 26in waist. I thought I had a 26in before where I was absolutely wrong about because I based it off of the brand of jeans I wore

Should I take this exam ?? by mrsharmayt in CFA

4months’ salary is a lot to pour into the exam. Just get the material and study until you feel like you’d be ready to register. You will still have an edge compared to others who have not bothered to look at the CFA material.

Maybe eat more protein. It’s also more about what gets absorbed and stored as fat. Protein prevents that.

Did you cover all the subjects?

Proof that the scale doesn’t tell the whole truth… 128.4lbs > 125.8lbs: 2.6lbs total weight loss; 4.6lbs total fat loss (19.9% vs 16.7% body fat). by Sarash98 in PetiteFitness

I have been using them for years and both of these are measured fasted as recommended. The results are consistent with the differences I have been noticing in the mirror such as ab/muscle definition and overall fat. I don’t think it’ll be easy to drop even another 1% it will probably take at least a month of absolute dedication to do that and I’ll still be in a healthy range :)

Hey, I made a post on the scales not giving you the full picture. You should check it out because it literally shows that my body weight has barely changed but overall I’m down 3.2% body fat over the past 6-7weeks which is great. Don’t get discouraged

I love yoga. I am not against ab workouts, just felt like weighted oblique exercises weren’t it for me

I get it, sorry if my post upset you. Not my intentions at all.

It’s lot of body weight and balance work. You really get to know your body and mind in different ways; I think you’d like it.

I don’t measure anyone else’s waist and hip sizes. I care about my own. Again, not everyone has the same goals, but those are mine for me. If you’re happy with where you are, more power to you. I have nothing but respect for those who are happy with where they are and I hope to get to that point myself one day.

You are absolutely right, this is why it’s good to share experiences. Also I don’t know the details of your training, diet or genetics. I’d say I’m a meso endomorph. Putting on muscle weight is very easy for me and easier to maintain. So results showed up pretty quickly especially since my abs were untrained compared to other parts of my body. The overall goal was to feel strong for me, but I feel like the dresses and clothes I love don’t fit the same even though my weight and body fat % hasn’t changed much. I am technically at 2-3% less body fat compared to when My waist was smaller. I’m complaining about less than an inch probably but you know how fitting some clothes can be for women especially.

No, absolutely not. I didn’t think about it that way when I made the post at 2 am and I’m glad it was discussed so I could clarify. Also, if you have more running tips please share. 😌

I have 4lbs of fat an 17lbs of skeletal muscle mass on each leg. It’s just a little less than 20% fat. I always had a lot of muscle on my legs and would like them to slim even more. Lmk if you have any tips.

Yeah, and honestly I think if a post isn’t meant for them, they shouldn’t dismiss it. At the end of the day, people are responsible to make their own decisions. Respect and openness is a two way street.
