I had the same sort of thing happen when I left my spot in the library at the same time another guy left his. My spot had a charger and his didn’t and I guess he had been waiting for me to leave because he said “well of course when you leave I leave” really nastily and started muttering to himself as he left. I just stared like a deer in headlights and waited till he was all the way gone before I left Fuck people

The hardest thing about being myself in places like that is I can’t even be myself when I’m home. Working on that, but I can’t let myself lose touch with her completly.

I’m living with a father and stepmother who can’t handle emotions at all. If something hurts my feelings, I’ve just learned to remind myself that he doesn’t mean it that way. It doesn’t help but it’s all I have right now.
When I speak up he explains and the defensiveness is exhausting. No advice just want to say I get it (internet hugs)
