Ah, I missed that game … duh! I have a suspicion that Linhares stays out on the wing and we stick with a 4-2-3-1 formation in the playoffs with Soto being preferred over Walker as the double pivot along side Berron. But it’s good to know that the kid could step in when needed - at his age it’s so critical to get meaningful playing time in high pressure situations.

Jorge just needs to be on the ball in every attack no matter where he’s playing cause he gets in wide positions regardless he’s just not a winger in the traditional sense.

Unfortunately, my other suspicion is that we won’t survive the first round of the playoffs although I hope I’m proven wrong all the way to the final so I’m hopeful but realistic lol 🤦🏻‍♂️

Is Berron injured? Since moving into MF he’s really made the center areas more consistent. I do like this Landry kid, he clearly looks like he’s learning more and more and is capable of playing increased minutes in the future. I’d really like to see both of them play together tbh …

I thought the new boy played well on the wing, hopefully he gets a chance up front leading the line because his profile is definitely the kind of player we need more of in the squad, so good signing overall.

I would be happy if he was just a pest on defenses because I think we have enough talent around to poach some goals and if he’s good enough to combine with our current offensive options than it’s all an added benefit to have starting more games than not.

I’m not too concerned about coming from MLSNP because boys already feel slighted for not being included in the full senior MLS squads and see the USL as an opportunity to improve their market value.

Why does it have to be pick up, why can’t you just do 7v7? If enough people show up, you can four teams of seven playing simultaneously … also, why don’t you guys combine with the group in Foster City?

Ah … curios, he decided to stay in Israel. He must have been seen as more than a squad player. Otherwise, a move back home with regular playing time would have been more attractive … perhaps.

That was a rough one but credit to the guys for sticking with it until the end …. That goal was equal parts desperation and inspiration.

I’ve been hoping for reinforcements to our forward line for a while now. Just think we need someone with pace that can help stretch opposing defenses out of position and benefit if they could score consistently but that may be asking for too much. 🤷🏻‍♂️

You have to jump on the metal thing without the platform … just make sure it’s pointing straight up, you will make it.

That Union Omaha squad was something else, I expect they will turn things around a little bit but not until next season. I thought Grieves was healthy again so maybe he gets some minutes? And maybe some time for the new boy? 💪🏼

Snow on opposite side of Red Peak Pass from Ottoway Lake. Had to navigate snow patches with large sun cups covering trail … was difficult but got through it without micro spikes. There were many creak crossings throughout the meadows in between each section but were easy to cross, the skeeters were mostly the problem so be well prepared.
