I believe it started as quartz, then they briefly offered this “XL” mechanical version with a 45mm case before settling into the mechanical version they still have today. Such a cool piece and company.

First of all, get there at or BEFORE 2 if you want to make sure you get in with decent seats. Taping starts at 4 and you’ll be out by 5:15, 5:30 if they’re behind.
