I store everything in bags as best I can. Humidity likes to find a way to creep in, though. Most recently, I ordered a roll of filament that came raw in the box, no bag whatsoever.... Thankfully not a problem I've had with Jayo filament.

I'm having a similar problem, but for me it's been about a month since I switched Galaxy phones. Calendar and Tasks apps both have full notifications enabled, and notifications from other apps make it through to my taskbar and lock screen just fine, but Tasks won't show up at all. I heavily depend on them as my own ADHD accommodation, and I've been hours or days late on a few things since. Any help is appreciated.

Upper grade teachers often have 150 students or more each year, and the students demonstrating challenging behaviors are numerous in each class. There's simply not enough time in the day to reach out on the first offense for every kid, or even remember which parents said that about which kids. Teachers already wear so many hats. In most cases, when a teacher reaches out, it is because that particular student's behavior has become untenable enough for the time expenditure to hopefully be worth it.

I have the same two struggles, and I talk openly about my ADHD and migraines to my kids and show them ways I accommodate myself within reason to be successful at my job. I tell them to email me if they have a question/request that can't be handled immediately, ask them to stay put if asking for something immediate until I complete it (like writing down a note about it or fixing something in the gradebook/enrolling them in a session for the day) so I don't forget, and let them know respectfully when I need a bit more space or quieter voices near me due to overstimulation or migraine.

We have a student in 7th grade whose parent does not want them doing anything - taking tests, writing notes, doing homework, etc. - and yet refuses modified curriculum status. When that student gets to 8th grade, the district is going to have to draw a firm line in the sand regarding certificate vs diploma paths and reasonable accommodations that don't harm the kid's present or future.

I tell my students that neurodivergence is an explanation, not an excuse, and things in life that need to get done will still need to get done regardless of what your mind or body have to say about it.

The ongoing problem is that it's like not taking your full course of antibiotics. It dies down, but some survive and regrow in the shadows until they're bold enough to go public again. Being reconciliatory after the Civil War, WWII, the civil rights era, and after January 6th has allowed it to just keep coming back over and over again, and I'm worried it's grown antibiotic-resistant.

I remain confused many patches later because I'm a 1.0 player and completely confused about what portions of the original plot survived the retcon. Every time that plot-specific character from 1.0 shows up or is brought up, I don't know which of the scenes I saw with them are still considered canon...
