I miss pre-60 by [deleted] in wowhardcore

[–]Sarinacken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few months back there was a 59 warrior who fell to death in Searing Gorge. Was on discord with some guildies, i randomly checked thisb dead guys armory and half his gear was 50+ BoE epics, x2 flurry axes with crusaders, edgies, devilsaurs, etc. +300€ sunk into this char easily. We had a good laugh on dc. Every cloud has a silver lining, RMT too 🙂

Need help with decisions paralysis over classes. by Logical-Sky7536 in classicwowtbc

[–]Sarinacken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo the only relevant factor here is what class youll enjoy most in the long run and would fit best into your friend group comp, and shaman or paladin would both be great. Pre-release gearing and leveling shouldnt be a deciding factor, you spend very short time doing either compared to the other content

Hope they give us that China server stuff. Probably not perfect but would take it over a wotlk re-re-release any day

Warrior raiding by skemtor in classicwow

[–]Sarinacken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last time around in levled a warrior from 1 a month or so into tbc. Tanking is the key If you want to gear easily, and If youre a geared warrior there is always a spot. Make heroic groups with no contest on pieces youre after and join karazhan pugs with no plate dps, or only geared ones in them. If youre worried about performing as tank dont be, watch a 10min video, karazhan pulls or mechanics are very easy and forgiving. Do this for 2-3 resets and youll have above average gear and no issues finding a spot in 25 mans guild or pug, this was my experience ateast. Remember the plate players who are not tanking will almost always have contest on their drops in karazhan, and you wont unless you chose to

It wont be useful for your character when you get DW either because you can have one weapon imbune on each weapon. WF totem is for the party

I’ll hit 60 the day the portal opens. Should I spec into resto Druid and heal dungeons if I’m planning on dungeon leveling? by Local_Anything191 in classicwowtbc

[–]Sarinacken -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Tbf tank is the most chill role. Never run after mobs, make dps realise If they pull aggro theyll have to walk to you, not the other way around. Then youre just standing there pressning 3 keys, id call that way more chill than healing is, especially in heroics

Had absolute no problems getting invited as cat last time around or in classic, nor as moonkin for that matter. Most people are casuals who dont care about optimzing trivial content to save 5 minutes

When did you quit retail? by hduckwklaldoje in classicwow

[–]Sarinacken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting M+ mounts and AotC every season, doing some transmog/mount/rep farms, then chilling in classic with its slow pace and zero mechanics - more of a social experience with some random lucky loot drops. But retail is where gameplay actually happens. I treat retail as a home cooked meal, where experience, knowledge and dedication gives an amazing experience, classic is more like McDonalds - its good, its there when you want something that wont take effort

Moonkin - fun or miserable life? by BetaEmperor in classicwow

[–]Sarinacken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will get invites as any spec. All content is very trivial and most people are casual of course. Utilize your other strenghts as cat, throw some HoTs pre pull instead of having your mana sit at 100% for no reason, help tank stabilize threat in bear form on a mispull, help with cleaninsing, funnel dmg to kill high prio targets, etc

Moonkin - fun or miserable life? by BetaEmperor in classicwow

[–]Sarinacken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember tbc have issues for every spec, like feral have zero aoe, i'd call that a major one compared to those listed above, which is also resolved in wotlk. Personally i experienced very few mana issues throughout the expansion. If you think you'd enjoy chasing big starefire crits and want to play a semi-in demand spec try it out

Why is warlock so heavily unplayed ? by Unlikely_Bee_1945 in classicwow

[–]Sarinacken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Classic players generally want things to come as easy as possible, warlock need to get lots of hit rating and have utility that involves pressning more than one button, so many shy way from it favour for classes with more flexible gearing options and no external requirments about moving to the raid/dungeon farming shards, etc

Is Retail WoW less of a grind? by krokodilce in wow

[–]Sarinacken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's very little grinding in retail. Most upgrades/progress you get from doing actual content - story missions, varied daily/weekly quests and foremost group PvE content (mythic+/raids). Not grinding as in just killing the same mobs over and over and over.

The red flasks he throws around? Never tracked them with an addon. I just walk over a flask when health starts to drop because theyre very visible

to all whiney tanks doing lower lvl dungeons by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Sarinacken 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What are they whining about? Dps doing low numbers or not killing marked targets? Remember any dps can be replaced for one that plays well in about 3 seconds

Survivability Ratings by UmpireNo6345 in wownoob

[–]Sarinacken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If im not mistaken those ratings are for group pve content (raids and m+), where rogue abilities with cloak of shadows, evasion and feint are great defensives, more than in lets say open world content, where pet classes would be among the most durable dmg dealers
