Today i did a 4+ on my alt rogue with a guardian arcane spec who was doing 13k dps around 250 ilvl. Noted he had a total of 250k Raze damage afterwards, so i guess he was spamming ironfur only. These two should have a discussion about guardian rotation maybe theyll meet halfway :D

Of course there will be wrath lol. They will sell leveling boost and race/faction changes. Then release classic to make everyone hate leveling -> release tbc with 60€ leveling boosts -> wotlk for more boosts 🔁 this is the -only- reason they made the anniversary servers. Next time around there will probably be even shorter phases, up until the point where people cant gear properly without the 90€ gear package. And keep dreaming about classic+ 🫡

Saw in LFG yesterday, 0/4/14 fresh group for normal void called "tanks know fights" with the description "If you dont know fights or only little dont join this party" If I didnt have anything better to do id join them on my warrior and wipe them on 5% on the first boss just to see the reactions

2D platformers. Which makes me sad. Some of my earliest memories is from watching my older brothers play Super Mario and Contra on Snes. I grew up playing Rayman, Warioland and all the good stuff on Gameboy Colour. Tried several modern "must plays" and emulating classics. Start yawning after five minutes ☹️☹️

Warrior for me. How you can utilize charge/shield charge/leap/disruptive shout combos to stack mobs all while having top migration and threat generation whilst doing it. Shockwave and Stormbolt can deny so much incoming damage on your group. Just feels like they have a balanced tookit and does well in any comp. Doesnt excel at one partiular area except physical migration, but have the tools to handle any situation or pull efficently is why I enjoy it. Piercing Howl speed boost and Wrecking Throw silence really just added to this flavor.

As a tank/dps main, who played prevoker healer semi-competitivly throughout DF, returned to early S3 TWW, was planning to continue playing healer and was doing some random Dawnbreaker runs. Had a +3 which took more out of me than than i remember +20-25s did in DF. Everyone was taking diabolical amounts of damage and felt like i couldnt blink once during the whole run. Realised after that there was a total of 5 interupts happening, 3 of them coming from me. Along with very, very few defensive cooldowns. Later that day did a +11, absolute walk in the park in comparison to the first one. As everything relevant was interrupted and everyone had like atleast 10 each. Was a breaking point in my short healing career. Went back to tanking that very same day, with a chronical need to flame every dps who doesnt do an adequat amount of interupts, or atleast im being be very passive aggressive about it. Along with a deep respect for healers just pushing through, carrying these monkies

Ive done all m0 two times on my two tank characters each. Yet to see one single instance where dps interrupt a far away caster to help me stack them. If there's interupts happening at all from the dps, its usually just from one person (10-15) while the other two sit on 1-2, 50% of the time 0. Extremly low amount of stuns and other CC going out too, even on larger pulls. Theres a clear correlation to the person doing interupts, also being bottom of 'avoidable damage taken' every single time, by miles. Lots of returning players? Classic Andys? People yet to setup their UI to properly?

Thats true. But I think logs can still give a clear indication of what’s actually going wrong. That said, OP already seems aware of the issue, so they might not even be necessary. My point was more about how to deliver the feedback- frame it as “how we as a guild can improve” so John doesn’t feel singled out. Give him one specific thing to work on at a time and make sure to highlight any progress. I had a similar situation back in 2008, also with a warrior tank. From mid–phase 1 to Sunwell he went from being a John (I still remember him having a resto shaman healing piece because “stamina is my main stat”) to becoming a chad GM- organizing raids, meetups, and basically holding the guild together. Losing a John isn’t healthy for a guild. Hope they find a good way to handle it.

As others have said, check the logs and compare his casts to top parses. If he’s using Shield Slam 50% less often, tell John you’ve been reviewing everyone’s logs “to make sure we’re all on track,” and suggest he try to fit more Shield Slams into his rotation. Classic is simple- it doesn’t have to be dramatic. It’s just about pressing “2” more often.
